Anniversary
The house is beautiful and clean with everything you could possibly need. The location is incredible you can walk to tons of shops and restaurants and hike Presidio park. Ten stars would be given if possible.

Fantastic property for the three of us. Can’t beat the location. Lots of great food options within easy walking distance (and great breakfast at Keema Cafe across the street).

A real find!
My husband and I stayed for a whole month with our dog, cat and bunny. We had a great time and really enjoyed the house a lot. Joan is an absolute delight and anything that comes up she is quick to respond and help. The house is cute and well equipped. We really loved the yard too. There is some street noise but it’s located right in the heart of Old Town so that’s to be expected. Really enjoyed having our own washer & dryer and sharing the driveway was fine too but the smaller the car you have the better. But that goes for all of San Diego really as parking is tough in a lot of places. Lots of great spots to walk a dog but really enjoyed going up the hill to Presidio Park. If you have the time there’s lot of fun trails up in there. Fav Old Town restaurants are El Agave and El Sueño and if you like good tequila go to Barra Barra because they have the best prices for the good stuff. My husband enjoyed Garden Coffee across the street and also the pizza is really good at Pizza Bella. Oh and I toured the other cottage behind ours and it was really cute too but only one bedroom. Maybe a little more quiet but a much smaller outdoor space. If you’re lucky enough to find this place available you’ll be glad you booked here.

Great location, perfect space
We had a wonderful stay in Old Town! Joan and Dove were so gracious with our family and the dogs, can’t say enough about how comfortable we were. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, bathroom with all the essentials and there were even dog treats and toys in the living room. Yard and outdoor spaces were comfortable and enjoyed by all. Will be back!

Fantastic stay!
The cottage was clean, well-stocked, and great for my wife, two kids, myself, and my father. We had all of the information ahead of time from Joan, the property manager. Joan was communicative and helpful, we could not have asked for a better experience.

House was nice, A lot of noise daily early in the morning due to business next door so no sleeping in. Parking requires planning but doable. Don’t bring a big vehicle may not fit. House was clean and comfortable. Yard needed som maintenance. But was quaint.

Perfect little cottage
This was the perfect property in Old Town San Diego. Close enough to walk to everything, but quiet and secluded as well. The property manager was kind enough to letus checkin early which was .uch appreciated. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking needs, and the property was spotless. The outdoor courtyard was lovely, a perfect place to relax after a day of exploring San Diego. The privided parking space was a bonus. We will definitely be back!

Great location in the heart of Old Town: Dogs are Welcome!!
This gem of a property is an awesome place to stay in San Diego. Located near I-5 and I-8, it’s easy to find and well located to get around. Old Town is busy at night, and this place is in the heart of it. However, with windows closed it is quiet. Parking included, and no extra “pet fee” is a real plus. We love staying!

Great location!
We really enjoyed our stay in this little house. It was within walking distance to everything in Old Town. Joan was very attentive and helpful while we were there. Only one word of caution--don't bring a large truck! Fortunately, we were able to work out parking with the other family. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Would stay here again if coming back to San Diego.

Cute property provided everything we needed for a short stay. In a great location to visit the Old Town & 10 min drive to dog beach. Off street parking was a bonus as parking is difficult in the area.

Old Town gem!
What a beautiful space to vacation! This house, as well as owners Dove and Joan are wonderful! There were 3 adults and a toddler on our trip who all fit comfortably in the house. The backyard can't be described any way other than an "oasis", with beautiful plants and even a grapevine growing along the fenceline! Joan was charming and was quick to respond when a fix was needed for a furniture issue and to answer questions, but otherwise left us to ourselves. The house has everything you would need to be comfortable. The parking took some patience and precision as it's a small driveway off a busy street, but the fact that there was off street parking at all was fantastic! We already reserved this space again for next summer and can't wait to vacation here again. Thank you Dove and Joan for hosting us, your house made our vacation spectacular!

Beautiful and relaxing
We loved this location. We could walk to historic Old San Diego. There were numerous delicious places to eat within walking distance. The home is extremely well equipped, the kitchen well stocked with appliances and dinnerware. The bedrooms both have large TVs as well as the living room. The courtyard with table seating is magical with beautiful flowing vines. Definitely recommend.

This is a great property. It’s right in the heart of Old Town. Very clean and a fully stocked kitchen with any type of kitchen amenities you can think of. The off street parking is great because street parking here is almost impossible. We also thoroughly enjoyed the two outdoor space. Thank you

Better than expected
Joan does a nice job of providing updates. The place was clean and comfortable and the price was amazing, considering the location. It was cute and cozy with a wonderful yard to relax. We only stayed one night but whenever we return to San Diego, we’ll definitely try to book this place as a first option.

Always a pleasure
My family and I LOVE THIS PLACE we were able to get away for a short time and decided this cottage was the way to go!!! The location ,hospitality,and charm cannot be matched. We were 10 minutes from the zoo….1 minute walk to the center of old town. It was wonderful. We will stay here again and again there is no where else I’ll be staying !!! Thank you so much Joan !!!

Perfect Old Town Location
Location is awesome. You can walk everywhere in Old Town. House was charming but spacious. Outdoor area was perfect for dogs. We loved it.

Always enjoyable and seamless
Good location for eating out and tourist shopping. Easy access to harbor and downtown. Nice to have a yard for the dog. Owners meet us when we arrive which is nice. Clean and has all we need.

Cozy and convenient

Very comfortable cottage in the heart of Old Towne
It was a lovely little 2 bedroom space with a comfortable living room and two cute patio areas. We enjoyed the location and would consider returning next time via train, as the station is approximately a block away and walking distance to many points of interest.

Lovely home in great location, outstanding managment
Four adults, two medium size dogs with room enough for all. When we rent our first priorities are comfortable beds and cleanliness. This house met both and then continued on with all the comforts and supplies you will need. Never stayed anywhere that was so completely furnished and equipt. Joan the manager is on top of everything you may need, friendly and amazing personality. She is there every time you need her and otherwise gives you your privacy to enjoy this lovely home in a great location in Old Town. We will certainly stay every time we come to San Diego again if it is available. You cant go wrong with this vacation rental.
