Nice condo

Condo was nice. Location was great for what we needed. Just a few minor issues, like the coffee maker was not functional. Limited tp. We had to go buy more during our stay. AC was controlled. Overall, it was a good place to stay. Even had a massage chair, which was very nice.

Con Did not find dishwasher soap or clothes washer soap. We are older people and a warning about the stairwell would have been a good heads up. I was told brochures with destination locations would be available, we did not see any Pro. Felt safe, comfortable beds, all amenities were in order. Beds comfortable

NO HOT WATER, FAULTY ELECTRICAL, DIRTY!!!!!

Save yourself time and aggravation by avoiding this property. To start off we were alerted of main breakers being tripped on the day we were checking in. We were told it was going to be fixed ASAP. This was not the case. We checked in and after 12 hours of travel come to find there was no hot water due to the faulty electrical. We proceeded to alert the management about the issue and were told to check and reset all breakers. Luckily for them I have common electrical knowledge, but this may not be the case for every guest and is a dangerous request. Total time of the stay was 5 nights. Each day we were told the same thing it would be fixed the following day...which never happened. So therefore, we had no hot water for the entirety of the trip. They offered to move us to another location 20 miles away which would have put more stress and added to our cost. We chose this property based on its central location to a wedding we were attending and being close to downtown. We could have overlooked all the flaws of this unit if there was hot water. To start out there was peeling ceilings due to water damage, ripped stained couches, rotten baseboards, blood and possible urine-stained extra pillows in closets, moldy showers, and even a DIRTY DIAPER, the list goes on and on. It's clear from the looks of this property and the way in which management handles issues that they don't care about their guests!

Not our Favorite

The description and pictures don’t lend the viewer to understand this is an upstairs unit in an apartment complex. The gated community is not an amenity because the gate was open 24/7. Only one parking spot assigned and visitor parking can be pretty far away based on availability. Neighbors weren’t thrilled about having a rental nearby. Kitchen was not user-friendly with no spatulas or cooking utensils, only one cookie sheet, and nothing to wash the dishes. No extra trash bags or dishrags. The guest bedroom had a TV, but no remote or cable service - we had to use our own fire stick to watch anything. The master bedroom had so many remotes that it was hard to understand what each one did. The balcony was littered with leaves and unusable due to old workout equipment blocking both doorway access points. There were cracks in the baseboards and door frames, screw holes in the walls where toilet paper holders or door knobs were removed, and some of the wood frames were exposed due to water or long-term damage. The master bathroom floor is not level near the toilet and has a screw that sticks out when you sit down. Overall, the potential for a 5-star rental is there if the property manager would invest a little money in updates and amenities. The phone number displayed on the rental permit was a landline and was not answered when we arrived.

Great Place, Great Location

Perfect spot for access to Medical Center. Comfy beds. Well appointed. Safe quiet neighborhood. A wonderful landing spot at the end of a busy day.

Not pleased at all

This was not a good experience. We had several issues. Started with not being able to get in the door due to code being wrong, the air conditioning was not working properly even after they came to fix it. It was not very clean, Hair everywhere, bugs in bathrooms. Water damage to walls and ceilings. Would not recommend this place.

Great stay

We were adopting and needed to be right by the hospital for the birth. This place was so close and really nice. It was well decorated, comfortable and clean. Manager went earlier the day we arrived to turn on the AC, but it wasn’t pumping enough air out, so it was really hot. Luckily we had things we needed to go do. He had his repair man out and kept in co tact with us. We just opened all the windows at night and turned on the fans and by morning it was perfect for the rest of our stay. Another commented on the guy playing video games. We did hear him, but it wasn’t enough to keep us up at night at all. If you need to be in this area, we do recommend this place.

Great Property, Difficulties

While the overall rating of this property looks quite good, there are issues to share. The gentleman who lives below loves to blast the volume on his television sound bar and it reverberates throughout the condo late into the night. He also is a smoker and has a loud, hacking cough which is clearly heard upstairs. There were consistent issues with the television dropping the cable and having to restart, sometimes as many as six times in a one-hour show. During our 8-week stay there, we lost electricity for several hours (no storm or obvious reason), water for an all-day servicing of some kind by the condo company, and an unresolved dispute about parking. There were repair issues that should have been attended to but were not. Having noted these things, the property manager and his assistant were very responsive, kind and professional in all instances. The owner, on the other hand, has chosen not to refund an appropriate amount when medical reasons caused us to leave the property earlier than planned and paid for. Careful consideration was given to inform of our early leaving so new rentals could be booked. In spite of that, more than 70% of our rental fee was kept by the owner. It is hard to imagine a human being with such a lack of empathy.
