Country charm in the city

Enjoy a relaxing weekend or weeknight staycation at our newly renovated and farmhouse chic vacation rental. This two bedroom and one and a half bath house is located with easy access to two major highways (281 & 1604) and plenty of amenities including grocery stores, shopping, a movie theater, ice skating, miniature golf and more! In a quiet established neighborhood lined with large oak trees, you and your loved ones can relax and enjoy a nature walk in the neighborhood park, play a round of tennis or even shoot some hoops. There are scenic views which often include loving neighborhood deer grazing in the nearby lawns. From the 280 sq. ft. air conditioned screen porch, you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee and bird watch or relax with a glass of wine following a day out and about in the lovely San Antonio and surrounding hill country.

The property is located 6.4 miles (10 minute drive) from the San Antonio International Airport, and 14 miles from downtown San Antonio (20 minute drive) which boasts many attractions such as the river walk, Alamo, Pearl district and nearby San Antonio Zoo, gardens and museums. To the west, you can visit Fiesta Texas (11 miles), La Cantera Shopping Mall, and Sea World (23 miles).

Stayed here for a week with my wife and we loved it! Very nice spot in a great location for venturing around San Antonio. Well equipped kitchen was great to have for meals. Cathy and Kevin were awesome hosts and extremely response with correcting a minor issue we had, canā€™t recommend enough!

Awesome for a family

We sadly got in later than planned on our first day but being greeted by all the deer in the neighborhood was so much fun! We LOVED seeing them everywhere. The house was perfect for our little family we spent most of our day out and about and itā€™s easily located to get around. Very much saved this listing for our next trip to SA!

This was our second visit and it was as good as the first. Clean attractive home, quiet neighborhood. Great fenced back yard. Love the sunroom. Deer are a bonus. It was close to our family we visited and convenient to anything you might need. Will surely stay again.

Perfect family home

We loved staying here! It was the perfect size for our small family, and we really appreciated being able to bring our pups! The sunroom was a favorite hangout spot for us all with plenty of games and puzzles for little ones. The deer visiting in the morning was amazing too!

Beautiful home in a great neighborhood

Our family (2 adults, 1 child, and 3 dogs) stayed here during our recent trip to San Antonio. The home was beautiful and charming with a great sun room and a spacious, fenced-in yard. The home is in a central (and safe) location. We loved seeing the deer walking through the neighborhood in the evening.Will definitely try to stay here the next time we come in town!

Just what we needed

The house is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and comes equipped with everything a traveler could need. Large fenced yard was great for our dog. Neighborhood is quiet, wooded and nice for walking. The sunroom was a real treat with morning and evening viewing of the deer. Easy access to shopping and loop 1604. We will happily stay there again.

Great stay

This was a great spot. The house was super cute and the neighborhood was charming. Very close to shops, an HEB and restaurants. We were able to easily get to Sea world (25 minites), the Alamo/riverwalk (15 minutes) and Fiesta Texas (15 minutes). Big bacyard for our dog to play fetch in.

Perfect for a family with pets

Our family came to visit the beautiful city of San Antonio and needed to bring our dogs with us. This was our first time travelling with the WHOLE family, and we had a wonderful experience. The house was perfect for the needs of our family and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. The proximity was also a plus, as we had short drives to wherever we wanted to go each day. We HIGHLY recommend this cozy, cute home if you have a family and fur babies!

Great location, safe, cozy

2nd time booking this place. I stayed last year and this year had guests in town and put them here. Being able to park in the garage is a huge plus. Location is central, super safe. Host is responsive and the house is cozy and guests slept great. Will stay again in the future and will keep it in mind for my future guests when we need more room.

Cozy, Clean & Dog Friendly

The host is so very kind and accommodating with amazing communication! Listing exactly how described. The location was perfect centralized around anything you might need within a mile (Shops, Hā€‘Eā€‘B grocery store, coffee, Petco, chain restaurants and so much more.) Gorgeous backyard, had plenty of bedding, extra blankets & towels. Kitchen had all cookware you would have at home & the coffee bar was our fav part (as we are very big coffee fans!) The home was very clean & neighborhood was quiet & safe. Easy check in & easy/reasonable check out rules. I am relocating and needed somewhere to stay that I could venture out different parts of San Antonio & this was the absolute perfect location. Would most def stay here again or recommend to others. All around a really good experience! Thank you for hosting us!

Drop off

Stayed at home to drop off daughter at UTSA and enjoy the city for a few days. Location was very convenient to entire city, variety of stores around home was perfect. Communication with owner was super easy and prompt. Backyard was excellent for our little poodle and relaxing, deer thoughout the area were so friendly and added to the enjoyment of our stay. Plan on staying at this location in the future!

Cozy and Safe Spot

My husband and I plus our two tiny Chihuahuaā€™s found this home to have lots of space, a fenced in back yard, cozy beds and a nice size kitchen. The neighborhood was very safe. We stayed two nights and it was the perfect spot. Really appreciated the laundry room. To top it off we had access to the garage which so convenient. We will stay again if we are in the area.

Terrific!

Great value and ample space with everything you could want in a house. Good location for getting all around San Antonio. Good wifi, comfortable bed, and easily 2-3x value & space over a local hotel. Highly Recommended!
