The hotel wouldn't let me check in, saying that the payment from Expedia wouldn't go through. But I checked Expedia charged my credit card successfully. Then, the hotel cancelled the reservation and asked me to book the hotel room directly. I did, but the Expedia now wouldn't do a refund. I paid the Expedia, then paid the hotel directly for the same room the same night. The hotel said that they couldn't get payment from Expedia but when I asked Expedia to issue a refund, Expedia refused. Expedia customer service email was a mess, as a different rep replied to my email without any contexts and I had to repeat my case but nobody understood my story!!!! Terrible, horrible, hopeless, angry!!!
