"My husband, two dogs and I stayed here for the 6th year in a row. The house is on the ocean and has a pool. Enough said. The Hess family is excellent with communication. We had good weather for the two weeks we stayed at Ocean Panorama. We love this house!"

"This is a beautiful property. Plenty of room to accommodate our eleven adults and one grandchild. The pool and hot tub got a lot of use through the week. Both were clean and well maintained. Deck space was plenty for our group to spread out. Great ocean view and nice, clean beach. The two kitchens was a nice plus (especially the two refrigerators- one for food, one for beverages. Would happily stay here again. "

"We love staying at the Sandlot! This was our 3rd year renting this cottage and we have already booked it again for summer of 2026! We are a family of 8 adults and 7 grandchildren- the layout of the rooms/ bedrooms is perfect for us. The close proximity to the gorgeous beach is a plus, along with the fenced in pool. We highly recommend this cottage to rent! "

Great location on a quiet section of beach, loved the beach toy box, 3 levels of decks, and heated outdoor shower.I was a little worried about sound due to it being a duplex but honestly never heard anything from the other side all week.One suggestion for improvement would be to add blackout courtains at least to a few of the bedrooms. All the rooms have basic blinds but the rooms get pretty light as soon as the sun comes up, would be nice to be able to sleep in...

"Place was very convenient to the beach and Atlantic Beach restaurants. Small but had everything I needed! Kitchen was well stocked for a couple or small family. It’s a little weird not having a bathroom sink, but the kitchen sink is directly outside the bathroom door and there is a mirror behind the sink so it didn’t feel too odd, and the full size shower was nice. Appreciated the beach chairs available and the cold ac! Only recommendation would be to make the door easier to lock, deadbolt is a...

"Had a wonderful weekend! Kids loved the heated pool! Valerie was so accommodating and answered messages quickly! She even stopped by to make sure we had everything we needed! She was so friendly! "

"It was a fun experience to stay in such a unique spot. My teen and I enjoyed the kayaks at sunset. And waking up to that view was lovely. Our hosts had a lot of nice touches with the coffee station, snacks and nice bath products. (And while the location is a little unusual, road traffic wasn’t really too bad with the air conditioning on.) it was really cool to stay right on the water in a former fishing cabin, while still being easily able to explore Swansboro, Cedar Point and Emerald Isle. "

"This property was wonderful for our family. We had 8 adults, a one year old and 2 dogs and the layout was great! We had a small issue the first day and the owner's immediately addressed it. The location was great being near all the soos and grocery store! I would absolutely recommend this house."

"We loved the Catalina cottage so much. The lay out of the house was perfect for our family. The beautiful picture windows showed off the ocean perfectly. The porch and the private balcony were tge best places to hang out. And no beach trip is perfect without an outdoor shower. They have a great outdoor shower. We loved everything about the cottage. And our host, Debbie was super easy to talk to and communicated easily with us. "
