"While the location is perfect the lodge itself needs work. It needs updating and a refreshed clean look. The lounge chairs in the lobby are extremely worn and the warm inviting picture on line is no match to the dingy look. The room felt dark and the bed mattress saggy. Cleaning fine.No hot shower due to multiple fuses blowing. Drippy faucet. Night 2 a breaker went. "We visited with our two children for a hiking and biking trip and had an amazing time. The property was exactly as listed and the host was excellent with communication. The property had the necessary amenities to make the trip comfortable and relaxing for the family. There is a great forested area as pictured behind the fire pit that is great for evening fires. Highly reccomend! "

"The cabin was great. Had a wonderful time. Beautiful and quiet area. Pretty secluded. Had most everything we needed for our stay. Didn’t know if shampoo and shower soap was included but there was none. So bring your own. Would be great to have a lamp for bedroom and living area but that’s just a want. Lol. Would definitely stay again. Super cute place. "

"We loved our stay. If you want a quiet out of the way get-a-way, this it it! The cabin was very clean and had what we needed. We had the pleasure of meeting the host in person when he brought us fire wood and he was very nice. We enjoyed feeding the donkeys and meeting the neighboring dogs who were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again."
