We stayed at this home over Christmas with nine adults. The views of Salt Lake are beautiful and the house is spacious, but several issues significantly impacted our stay.The primary problem was the water system. The master bathroom was not usable due to lack of hot water, and when showers were running, sinks upstairs would stop working entirely. With a large group, we had to carefully schedule showers and avoid running water elsewhere in the home. These issues were reported during the stay but were not resolved.We also observed safety and maintenance concerns, including a missing smoke detector in one bedroom and another hanging by its wires in the master suite, visible discoloration on window trim in a basement bathroom consistent with moisture damage, and unstable dining chairs.To be fair, the hosts were responsive when we requested additional kitchen items and provided several pans for cooking, which we appreciated. However, the unresolved plumbing and safety issues materially affected our comfort and use of the home.While the location and views are a highlight, future renters should be aware of the water limitations and overall condition of the property.
