Industrial Modern Getaway -Hot Tub -Exposed Brick

  • This 1907 brick Victorian home underwent a year long restoration down to the studs, including structural reinforcement, and now shines once again.

    NOTE SHARED SPACES- You are renting the entire main Victorian home. There is an attached studio apartment rented separately. READ BELOW

    The home has an original exposed brick wall, high end finishes, a huge kitchen island, 10’ tall main floor or ceilings, and an entertainer’s dream backyard.


    Bring your pet too!

    Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated with old homes and the charm that came with them ; excellent brickwork, tall ceilings, and so much more. The Victorian was purchased in complete disrepair. Everything needed to be replaced and it had substantial structural issues. Purchasing this home, I truly had no idea how much work would end up going into this restoration but in the end, now stands a fully remodeled historic 1907 Victorian. To restore old homes is my passion and this project, although difficult at times, was a labor of love.

    NOTE - There is an attached studio apartment separate from the main home. The only shared space is the backyard and some of the parking ( SPECIFIC parking so be sure to read below). MORE info is below in GUEST ACCESS. I personally love Airbnb where there are other units nearby. I created the backyard with multiple different spaces so guests/travelers could interact with one another but also have their own space.. the way Airbnb was originally made for.

    This historic main home boasts 4 full bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a large kitchen island, and so much more.

    The backyard is an entertainer’s dream that includes TWO firepits (one wood burning and another gas), a hot tub, a turf patch with outdoor seating, a hammock, and even an outdoor dining table for 6.

    We put our heart and soul into this house transforming it from one of the most run-down in the area to its current condition. Love was put into the restoration of this old home so that people can enjoy a piece of SLC history for many years to come.

    Main Kitchen
    Large fully stocked kitchen with huge island for seating of 7 guests and an original exposed brick wall.

    Living Room on Main Floor -
    Modern furnishing with a very cozy atmosphere right off the main kitchen.
    There is no dining table in the entire home. The kitchen island has seating for eating and the back kitchen has a small bistro table. Huge 60’’ Smart TV on the wall.

    Living Room in Loft -
    The loft area has its own thermostat so air flow is very good in hot or cold temps. There is a desk with an office space and some cozy leather loungers. There is also another 55’’ Smart TV in the loft.

    Laundry -
    There is a laundry room in the basement. It is finished but does have concrete floors and walls. Be careful going down to the laundry as the head height is only around 6’ 8’’.

    Exterior/ Driveway+ Garage (SHARED WITH STUDIO APARTMENT) -
    1. You are able to park 2-3 cars off the street. One of the cars can be in the garage. The third off street parking spot is dependent on vehicle size. If you have a larger car or truck it won’t fit in this 3rd spot but larger vehicles can fit in the other 2 spots no problem. Reach out to your host with questions or about the vehicles you have to confirm it’ll fit!
    2. The backyard is almost fully fenced except for the driveway area.
    3. The front and backyard are completely gravel. There is only a small turf patch in the backyard. There is no real grass on the property.



    Backyard (SHARED WITH STUDIO APARTMENT)-

    As mentioned above, this property is the entire main home of the 1907 Victorian. There is a small attached studio apartment that is completely separate from your unit and has it’s own separate entrance as well. The units are separated with a. Solid door and an insulated wall. With it being a 100+ year old home you may hear some noise travel between units but it should be minimal. The studio is attached to the main home. There are no floors above or below the studio. If you have any issues with noise reach out to your host.

    You will be given 2-3 off street parking spots, with one being in the garage. The concrete pad in front of the garage is shared with the studio apartment who gets a parking spot. The long driveway must stay clear so that both units can use it to enter and exit. The third off street parking spot is dependent on vehicle size. If you have a larger car or truck it won’t fit in this 3rd spot but larger vehicles can fit in the other 2 spots no problem. Reach out to your host with questions or about the vehicles you have to confirm it’ll fit!



    Backyard and ammenities is entirely shared with the studio.

    I created the backyard with multiple different spaces so guests/travelers could interact with one another but also have their own space.. the way airbnb was originally made for.
    1) LOCALS MUST MESSAGE US BEFORE BOOKING. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

    2) Occupancy limits: Please make sure to message your host if you are having over 8 guests or people who will be visiting. Each guest must be on the reservation

    3) Fees: There is a $200 per day fee for every day of your booking if it is found that you have been smoking on the property.

    There is a $50 LATE CHECKOUT/EARLY ARRIVAL FEE if you are there longer or arrive earlier than you have been authorized, causing the cleaner to have to wait for you or be rushed. I care about my cleaners very much, and their time is valuable :)

    Enjoy the fire pit, but be sure to keep it clean after use and extinguish your fire! If using the gas firepit, ALWAYS turn off the propane after use.

    4) Quiet Hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM. Be a good neighbor!

    PET RULES AND FEES:

    MY pet fees are different than the standard Airbnb platform pet fees. Airbnb does not allow me to do a nightly rate for the pet fee, they only for the entire stay. The PET fee is not included in the booking. As a pet owner myself, I don`t like getting charged high pet fees for short stays, that is why I created my own separate per-night pet fee to be added after booking. I am also willing to be reasonable on the pet fee for longer stays. Ultimately I am not trying to be sneaky about the pet fees but I want to try to make the fees fair for all guests with pets who come for short stays or for long!

    We allow (3) pets! You must agree to $25/night per pet fee, added to the booking total after booking (Please inquire about the pet fees for longer stays). Please also agree to a Zero impact pet policy (meaning there will be no sign a pet was onsite upon departure, you don’t allow pets on furniture). You accept full liability for your pets.

    6) I don’t allow mail delivery as this unit has no mailbox. Please use Amazon locker or equivalent. Please speak with the host first if you need to send mail.

    7) Alterations/Changes: Once you have confirmed your booking, any modifications to the dates or guest count may be treated as a cancellation and therefore be subject to the cancellation policy. The host retains the right to charge for lost dates you have removed with an alteration of at least a partial amount to the discretion of the host.

    8) All events at the property must be discussed with the host and will involve event rate pricing. The driveway has tons of parking space!

    9) Hot Tub Information- Before using the hot tub make sure to unbuckle all 4 plastic clips on both sides of the cover before folding it over so they do not break. They break easily and are costly to repair.

    Please be sure to wash the body of any dirt, oils, and/or lotions before entering the hot tub, and do not spill any beverages/eat any food in the hot tub. After each hot tub use, we ask that you place a small baggie of shock that is provided in an ammo box and run the jets for a few minutes. Be sure to turn the jets off after those few minutes. This will help keep the water super fresh during your stay! Be sure to keep the shock baggies away from kids and pets! There will be a $125 charge if the hot tub water is in very poor condition after your stay. By following these hot tub rules, all guests will be able to enjoy a clean hot tub during their stay!



    These rules may seem intense, but I am very easygoing when your lovely guests follow the rules and 99% of them do. It`s my pleasure to host you!

The place was perfect for us! Owner was great at communicating and was beyond flexible. He was available during the entire stay over the long weekend. Really made for a fantastic stay! Would gladly stay there again and send friends heading into town in his direction.
