"We have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel is 5 minutes walk from the railway station and the town centre."

Entertainment is also a letdown: many "international" TV channels are unavailable, and the bowling center is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Furthermore, there are no fitness or spa facilities. For the price, the amenities simply don't measure up."

"We had an exceptional "birthday stay," after enjoying a day and evening in Deventer. Everything was super great: Reception personnel, the room, the bed, the shower with wonderful-smelling bath gel, the view. Parking was easy, close, lots of available spaces. It made it seamless to buy ferry tickets at the hotel. The ferry to the city center was less than a 5 minute walk. We didn't have dinner at the hotel, but breakfast options were extensive, high quality and satisfying, including the coffee...
