"Walked across to the shops for the best coffee and good pastries. The little market in the lodge had a good burger and lighter options too. I got a great chai there every day. The room was perfect for us, with a nice balcony I used for some sketching and reading, a gas fireplace for cool evenings, and comfy beds I didn’t want to leave. "

"There was ants in my room and on the bathroom counter. They switched me rooms, that room had ants also, and a soap bar with hairs on it behind the bathroom door . The manager still persisted that we pay for the rooms. Only a $65 credit was given. The manager refused to talk with me."

"This is the worst experience in my life for a hotel or motel stay! I recently booked a non pet room from Ester Lee Oceanview Inn to see the beautiful sunset by the Pacific Ocean. When we entered the room last evening, there’s strong odor of pets urine everywhere in the room. We talked to their front desk for a change, but were told they’re booked up and no room was available. "Amazing view of the ocean from our room on the third floor. Staff was very friendly and willing to help make our trip special- especially Brandi at the front who checked us in and out. The fire pits out back made it very cozy when the evenings brought the chill in. The breakfast had a lot of different food and drink options. "Overall a decent place to stay but I will look elsewhere if I return. The staff were kind and helpful, the general areas were relatively clean enough. In the hotel room the floors, sheets, and general surfaces were clean enough. The balcony and bathrooms were a disaster. The balcony looked like it hadn't seen by another person in 3 years. The bathroom was nearly unusable. Towels were clean and folded nicely, toilet was clean, sink was clean, but the tub had an old yellow stain that turned...

"I drove 2 hours and paid a few hundred follars for a room for 2 with a view, balcony, jacuzzi tub and as soon as i walked in with my son to check in i was told kids cant stay in there rooms, they canceled my reservation on the spot and was told sorry expedia is supposed to advertise these rooms are adult only. That was not advertised anywhere. Everywhere i called to reserve a room that day as it was a saturday late afteernoon and a busy weekend at the coast all hotels were booked out. "
