The colorful casita is a beautiful, historic home built in 1899 and recently updated with modern amenities. Located on the quiet edge of downtown, our place is across the street from the river; 3 blocks to shops, galleries, parks and nightlife. Hiking & mountain biking trails 4 blocks away.
1 queen bdrm, one King that converts to daybed or 2 twins. Wood floors. Fully equipped kitchen, plus gas grill and private patio, deck and lawn with views of "S Mountain." Cruiser bikes free upon request

You get the whole place to yourself (two bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room and back yard with gas grill). Let us know if you'd like the 2nd bedroom set up as a king, two twins, or a daybed and office area.
Parking is on street, which is typically pretty easy to find right at the front door. Bike parking is available in the shed in the backyard. Black-out curtains over all windows help keep the place cool even on the hottest days, and they're great for sleeping in!
Want to stay in and cook? You’ll enjoy the well-equipped kitchen or grilling out in the backyard. Or order curbside pick-up or delivery from one of Salida's many nearby restaurants.
Our cleaning standards have always been very high (as you can tell by our reviews), but with the advent of the COVID 19 threat, we've doubled-down our already high disinfecting standards to ensure the safety of our employees, guests, and our entire community.
We've also upgraded our wifi to 120 megabits per seconds so guests can set up shop to work or homeschool from your Salida "home away from home."
You can also rent bikes upon request, either townies or mountain bikes.

Only one bedroom has carpet, despite what the pictures show. The living room and king/daybed room are now wood floors. Photos of those will come soon...
