"Für mich als Wassersportler war es ein toller Aufenthalt. Ansonsten gibt es auf der Insel keine grosse Alternativen (Wandern, klettern, Berge besteigen, Gleitschirm fliegen, im Wald spazieren gehen ………! Die Einheimischen waren sehr liebenswert und z.T. wunderschön in Ihrer Bekleidung ! Sonne- Meer und Wind, mit angenehmen Temperaturen (Tag+Nacht um diese Jahreszeit) hat es genügend ohne dass man am Abend von Mücken geplagt wird ! Vorsichtshalber etwas gegen Durchfall mitnehmen !"

"Fint ophold. Der var lige lidt mangler ved ankomst men vi kontaktede udlejer og han kom inden for en time og fixede det hele. Selve resortet er super lækkert og smukt. Man bor nede i "bunden" væk fra stranden så man får hurtigt gået sine 10.000 skridt hvis man tøffer lidt rundt på hotellet. Vi har ikke været særlig begejstrede for selve resort-personalet i receptionen - de var svære at kommunikerer med. Men overall virkelig fint til prisen. Dejlig destination!"

"We enjoyed our stay a lot. The apartment comes with everything one might need. It even has a small sea view between the houses on the other side of the road and a garden in the back. The village is very friendly and clean and unlike the rest of the island green. You have a salt water pool for free use, a restaurant, a bar, a minimarket and a bath tub bay. You can see turtles and all kind of living things inside the sea."

"We were met at the airport and taken to our apartment. Really nice and airy, nicely decorated with good shower and comfortable bed and all the things you need to self cater. Brilliant double glazed window tilted so could be left open all day but when closed blocked out any noise. Right next to beach and with a nice garden with parasol to sit out in. "Very good location, inside a Melia beautiful resort. Possible to use swimming pools and beach. Excellent wi-fi . Kitchen very well equipped. They cleaned the room at half staying. Just portuguise TV . ( For CNN and SKY listening didn' work). I suggest to explain how the safe works ( it's only in portuguise) and that air-conditioning works with a timer next to the front door, not simply with the remote control."

"The ad on Vrbo was slightly misleading. It wasn't clear that it was on the Melia Tortuga resort, so we were worried that it might have been above the Reggae Bar. "Die Wohnung war sauber und sehr geräumig. Die Anlage war gepflegt. An einigen Stelle wurde gebaut, wir waren davon aber nicht betroffen. Die Kommunikation mit den Angestellten war schwierig aber machbar. Zum Essen können wir nichts sagen, wir haben uns selbst verpflegt. Es gab kleine Supermärkte in der Nähe, auch mit ein paar veganen und glutenfreien Produkten. "

"As pessoas são muito atenciosas, mas faltam toalhas em todos os lados. Dificilmente tinha toalha disponível na piscina pra retirada. No nosso quarto deixaram de trocar as toalhas nos únicos 2 dias que solicitamos. Tivemos que pedir na recepção e ficar há espera por mais de uma hora e nada de ter toalhas. O lençol era velho. "
