The cottage is located in the countryside with a large private garden, just 15 minutes from Laval. You'll appreciate the spacious living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a lounge area with TV, and Wi-Fi. There are four bedrooms: three with a double bed (140x190cm) each and one with a single bed (90x190cm). A bathroom with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet complete the accommodation.

You can enjoy lunch in the shade of the cherry tree while admiring the surrounding countryside. A carport or motorcycle can be sheltered under a lean-to, and bicycles can be stored in the shed.

The location is ideal for exploring the northern and central parts of the Mayenne region, or even taking a trip to Brittany: Vitré is 25 minutes away, and Mont Saint-Michel is 1 hour and 20 minutes away.

While in Mayenne, don't miss the city of Laval, its castle, museums, park, markets, and of course, the Christmas lights in December and January. Stroll through charming small towns like Chailland (15 min), Saint Pierre sur Erve, Parné sur Roc, or the famous Sainte Suzanne. History buffs will appreciate the Mayenne region, a stronghold of the Chouan uprising; the Jean Chouan Museum is just 1.5 km from the gîte.

Shops are located in the center of Saint Ouen des Toits (2.5 km) (fully stocked grocery store and bakery, restaurants) or in Bourgneuf la Forêt (4 km).

Numerous hiking trails (PR) are within 400 m of the gîte and the surrounding villages.

The property is on the ground floor, but there is one step to enter the house, and two steps between the living room and the bathroom/bedroom area. Wheelchair access is possible via the French doors and the exterior entrance to reach the living areas.
