2-bedroom house Le Chai

Le Chai is a 2-bedroom cottage for 4 people, which has retained the thickness of the walls and the natural coolness of the old stones in summer.

Inside, you'll find a living room with a seating area and satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, stovetop, microwave, washing machine, and complete set of dishes), two bedrooms, and a bathroom. The first bedroom has a king-size bed (180 cm) – or two single beds (90 cm) if you prefer (we can adjust to your request). The second bedroom has two single beds. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.

Outside, your private garden with garden furniture and barbecue — a pleasant place to dine al fresco in summer or enjoy an aperitif in the shade.

Le Chai is part of the Domaine de Rochebonne, our former family estate now a holiday resort. A maximum of 9 families can stay on the grounds at any one time, within a walled park of 13,000 m² entirely car-free. A shared heated swimming pool is open 24/7 from May 1st to October 1st, and there are plenty of play areas for children (wooden fort, sandbox, swings, badminton, football, pétanque). Pets are welcome (supplement of €15 per stay).

Practical information: bakery 800m away, butcher 1.4km away, restaurants a 5-minute walk. Beaches a 10-minute drive, bridge to Île d'Oléron 8km away. Royan 24km away, La Rochelle 55km away. We live on-site and are available should you need anything.
