Cozy Fripp cottage on quite cul de sac

Adorable 3BR/2BA beach cottage on Fripp Island. The upstairs has two bedrooms, One with a king and the other with a King and a twin bunk bed. Downstairs offers a bunk bed combo twin over full along with a full-size bathroom. Living/dining/kitchen combo. Very open floor plan with excellent entertaining space. Screened in porch and large deck overlooking expansive yard. Outdoor shower for convenience after a day at the beach - perfect for your family getaway to Fripp!

This rental comes with 2 amenity cards included. Additional cards are available for $50 each. (Ages 13 & up).

Amenity cards are good for entry to all the pools on the island along with the snack bar, Bonito restaurant, excursions, and chair and umbrella rentals.

If you have never been to Fripp before you are in for a treat. Fripp is a private island with no commercialization. Most people park their cars upon arrival and only travel by golf cart during their stay. The island is 1 mile wide and 3 miles long. Our home is situated in the dead center just off of the main road (on a cul de sac) with the beach in one direction and the marina in the other. At the marina you can take shell excursions, Dolphin tours, rent paddle boards, or dock your boat. The beach offers chair and umbrella rentals with beach accesses every block. The "adult" pool is just off of the beach and offers a ocean side bar for cocktails. There are 7 pools at Fripp including a kiddy pool, adult pool, Olympic pool, and one heated pool (don't plan on it being a hot tub but warmer than the rest.) There are also playgrounds, volley ball, and basket ball courts. The beach club offers a number of planned activities that you will find in a hand out you will receive at the guard gate upon arrival. Some of these include corn hole tournaments, Sand sculpture contest, pool side bingo, golf cart scavenger hunts and family karaoke nights. For the kids there is Camp Fripp (by reservation) and a nature center.

Bath towels are provided but bring your own beach towels. Washer and dryer in unit. One roll of paper towels and one roll per bathroom of toilet paper is provided along with bed linens.

This house is perfect if you want to be away from the main strip. Everything was clean. Host was very responsive. The whole amenity card thing is a little confusing. Would stay here again.

We recently stayed at this property and while the location was great and the beds were comfortable, there were several issues that made the stay disappointing. Upon arrival, we noticed visible mold around the crown molding, likely from a roof issue. The air vents throughout the house were concerning—several did not fit securely, one in the kitchen walkway was held down with duct tape, and my 1-year-old’s finger even got caught under a loose vent. Outside, my husband slipped and fell down the front steps twice. The bathtub was missing a proper stopper, forcing us to improvise when bathing our kids.When we arrived, there was also a golf cart left by a previous renter that had apparently been there for weeks. The property manager was unaware of it and did nothing to have it removed. Communication was poor overall—I had to reach out the day of check-in just to get access information, and she was ultimately useless in being proactive. When we booked in August 2024, the listing included a golf cart. After the property was sold in 2025, that amenity was removed without notice. We only discovered this ourselves and had to rent one separately, which added 400 to our stay—money that could have gone toward a larger rental with a golf cart, but since we weren’t notified, we couldn’t make the best decision for our family.While the house has potential, the safety issues, poor maintenance, and lack of communication made this a frustrating experience, especially with small children.
This is the floor air vent located in the narrow walkway around the kitchen island. Instead of being secured properly, it was held in place with duct tape. Because it sits directly in the walking path, you have to physically step on it.

Fantastic!

We had a great stay here. The location is close to everything but at a dead end so not much traffic. Having a 2 garages we could park under was very convenient for loading and unloading. Plenty of room for everyone, comfy beds. Just an overall great experience!

Cozy home

Recent stay in Fripp was enjoyable family time- 6 adults and a baby- Beds were comfy- didn’t really need anything during our stay- the host made sure we were set. Loved the wildlife sightings, a doe would come visit with us as well as a raccoon- he bounced out of the trash can when we arrived. LOL! Not to worry, there is a bungee cord to hold down the lids.

Awesome Location

My husband and I recently spent a month in this home on Fripp. It was our first time on Fripp Island and I would highly recommend. This home was fine and the interior very clean upon arrival. The interior does need some TLC and the exterior was not very inviting until we spent time cleaning the deck, porch and carports.(The cleaning crew does not clean the exterior) Nice quiet street with lots of wildlife. The property manager was responsive to our calls if we needed her. Overall the home offers great space for a family, beds were comfortable and the location is wonderful.

Great house

We had a great time at this house. It was base camp for us as our family was staying down the road closer to the beach. The house had plenty of towels, cookware etc and enough space for the 5 of us. Would def come back!!

Memorial Day weekend

Our check in time was 3:30 and we did not get to check in till 7:00pm Sat night. When you are only at a rental for less than 48hrs it’s not a great situation to be 3 1/2 hours behind on the check in. Thankful we did not have dinner plans and need to get ready. We also got in and they did not have any towels for us for the weekend. Things happen out of peoples control( power outage for a little bit that morning) but how it was handled was very poor. The owner really didn’t seem to care about the inconvenience. We didn’t have an answer as to when we could get into the rental till 5:00. I had to repeatedly call and ask what was going on. When you are spending so much money for a weekend there needs to be ALOT more consideration for the mishap. And to the owners response that she was 2 hrs away and can’t do anything…. You could have handled it a lot better than you did and made us aware of the situation before we walked into an unclean house thinking we were checking in and you could have made it right by offering to compensate us for the trouble. This was our vacation and spent a lot of money to come for a short time. Things happen and its not the worst but you were very rude and dismissive and while it wasn’t your fault it was also not ours and we are the paying customers. I think overall this rental is a nice house and great location. The cleaning staff did a great job and work hard once they arrived. So as long nothing goes wrong it might be ok.

Lost Lobster - Great Stay

You really can't ask for a better location for a vacation home. The golf cart provided gives you ease of access to the beach, golf, fitness center, and much more. There was more than the listing even had on it that were so nice. 4 adult beach cruisers, 1 kids bike, 4 folding chairs for backyard or beach, fire pit, and tree swing. Beth was easy to communicate whenever we had a question and quickly resolved. Would stay here again.

We had a good time at the property for 6 nights. It as in a good location and was comfortable. I took off 1 star for a couple of broken items (blinds/shower bar/stair) that needed to be fixed, but everything else was great.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great week at the “Lost Lobster!” Five of us stayed and we had plenty of room to spread out. Some of the highlights included the location on the island, the tree swing (for kids), 2 bikes we were able to ride, and the screened in porch with fans for keeping cool! Initially, when we checked in, the floors were not very clean which is why we rated it lower. Luckily, the cleaning service stopped by for a final “walk through” and they were able to rectify the situation. There was a vacuum available to use in case we would have needed to clean it ourselves. Bathrooms, kitchen, and bedrooms were fine regarding cleanliness! One minor disappointment was that the outdoor shower was not working (nor is it an enclosed just FYI). Also, we did bring one other small TV for the kiddos to use in one of the bedrooms since the only TV is located in the living room. Would we stay here again? Absolutely! Cute home on a quiet cul-de-sac with updated rooms/beach decor! Miss the beach already!

This property is in a great location on the island, nice quiet cul-de-sac and easy walk or drive by golf cart to the beach. Communicating with the owner/property manager was extremely easy; always had quick responses from her. We were however, very disappointed in the cleanliness of the home and the lack of kitchen cookware.

Great Space for few days on Fripp

We've stayed on Fripp dozens of times. This time was a quick getaway over the Christmas holiday. This space is excellent for that--quiet location with good proximity to beach access. The only thing lacking--and the reason I wouldn't rent for an extended stay e.g. a week, is a view of the marsh from the outdoor seating areas. Beyond that, however, I would recommend this to anyone looking for a few days of R&R on Fripp.

Fripp Fun!

This house was nice and in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It’s close to the marina and comes with a golf cart with is great! The owner is very responsive and easy to work with. We would stay here again!
