Featuring a trampoline, hammock & BBQ, this gem of a gîte for 5 persons is in the heart of magical St.Guilhem le Désert. Situated a few steps from the medieval Abbey of Gellone, this charming house comes fully equipped and is newly renovated with style and sympathy to the history of this legendary village.

Set on three floors, this lovely home will provide you with all the comforts you need for a restful stay. Wifi, linen, towels, coffee/tea are all provided free of charge. The gîte has stunning views from every window and is surrounded by birdsong. There is fresh mountain spring water on tap, only a step from your door. It tastes amazing. Relax in your private garden, with a cold glass of local rosé, and admire the ancient Abbey of Gellone. Snooze on the giant 2-person hammock. And with trampoline, basketball, archery and lots of summer games equipment, your kids will be happy all day. At night, all you shall hear is the gentle gurgling of the river Verdus, as it winds its way to join the magnificent Hérault. And the chatter and songs of birds. No cars, no traffic, no stress.

Please note that the gite has 3 floors, with the lobby and toilet at the bottom, the kitchen on the second level and the two bedrooms (one with en-suite shower) at the top. The gite is not suitable for those with walking difficulties.

The house has one permanent security gate installed and a portable gate which can be installed for the top floor bedroom. If you need a crib, I can have one ready for you. Just let me know if you have any special requests and I will be happy to help.
