"I stayed here some years ago and this property was great. It’s really gone downhill since the last time I was there. The downsides were the room was pretty filthy and the mattress protector underneath the sheets looked like it had never been cleaned, and had all kinds of interesting stains. "We are not picky travelers. In town for the races and don’t need anything special. We have stayed here in the past but this place continues to go down hill. The ceiling has cracks, the ac doesn’t work, and there is no smoke detector. The wires where the smoke detector goes are hanging there and that’s it. The bed wasn’t even made. The sheet was just thrown on, the wrong way, and the cover over the top of it. Do not recommend."

"The Crosby is well located next to the river in the center of the bars and restaurants. It looks new and is in good condition. If you are a whiskey aficionado, you might want to make a special trip to Stillwater to taste the whiskies in its tapas and whiskey lounge.
