The beach and ‘Le Point Plage’ (a centre offering a full range of water sports: stand-up paddleboarding, surfing, J80 sailing, catamaran lessons and supervised sea trips) are just a short distance away. La Grande Plage stretches for 2 km and is ideal for walks, jogging and family outings.

Nearby:
In the surrounding area, a must-see stop on the Emerald Coast is Cap Fréhel, to the west – an impressive site designated as a bird sanctuary, whose cliffs rise 70 metres above the sea.
Not far from there, take the time to stop off at Fort la Latte Castle, built in the 14th century on a rocky headland, which majestically overlooks the English Channel.

Nearby, the resort of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo is charming with its small harbour, coastal paths and seven fine sandy beaches!

A former pirate stronghold, the walled town of Saint-Malo is built on a rock. With its magnificent ramparts, it offers a stunning view of the sea and the Channel Islands: Jersey, Guernsey and Sark. Whilst a walk along the ramparts is an unmissable experience, the town of Robert Surcouf and Jacques Cartier is no less impressive, with its picturesque cobbled streets, opulent shipowners’ houses and its castle, whose keep houses the Museum of the History of the City and the Malouin Region. In Saint-Malo, you can witness the spring tides or the start of the Route du Rhum race first-hand; at low tide, you can visit the Fort National, built to Vauban’s plans; discover Chateaubriand’s tomb on the islet of Grand Bé; or take a pleasure boat trip around Saint-Malo Bay…

Those who enjoy walking or cycling can follow the signposted route through the Rance Valley, where mills, traditional Saint-Malo-style houses and fishing villages dot the landscape.

Another unmissable stop is the famous seaside resort of Dinard, which has preserved magnificent villas from its past as a Belle Époque holiday destination: the Promenade du Clair de Lune and the Promenade de la Malouine will reveal some of them to you.
