"Great place to hangout with family, playing cards on the deck, stairs down to the boat house/fire-pit/hot-tub area. We loved the dock which had plenty of chairs to sit out! We had a fun family get together."

"The hotel is a typical American roadside motel it was pretty much as you would expect. The reception lady was lovely and welcoming the check in process quick and efficient. The parking was plentiful. The room was perfectly clean and presentable no frills but as mentioned perfectly fine. Nothing exceptional but just fine. Downtown is roughly 10-15 min walk for restaurants and bars the onsite bar lounge is good the bar tender we met was excellent."

"I would give this place a five stars except when you pull up and come in they surprise you with a $10 parking fee to park in the parking lot. This isn’t the Ritz Carlton or the Hyatt in downtown Chicago. This is northern Idaho next to a Walmart type shopping center where they charge you $10 to pull into the public parking lot in the middle of the main drag. I have no idea why. Forewarned, I complained to the property manager and all I got was an email stating they’ll be more transparent about it...

"Schweitzer Village was pretty vacant this time of year and we were thankful for that since we were able to get an amazing room with a beautiful view. Each staff member was extremely helpful and the Humbird had a great game room, gym, and rooftop jacuzzi."
