We love to be your hosts and are happy when you enjoy your stay on our mountain farm among the colourful nursing cattle herd, the bees, goats, ducks, and cats. Young or old, on your own or in company - relax on the sunny patio right next to your ground-floor entrance. Our setting is also suitable for small children: In summertime, BioHof offers a sand box, toys, pet animals and opportunities to explore; in wintertime, the family-friendly ski resort is within walking distance. It offers the world's first solar-powered ski lift, several well groomed runs suitable for families, a snow carrousel and a ski lodge for your enjoyment. Our mountain spring season is exceptional, with meadows full of alpine flowers in full bloom. We also recommend the sunny autumn days well above the fog with a clear view of the spectacular mountain panorama. Tenna, the sun deck of the Safien Valley, is a prime location for a slowed-down vacation! You can spend your days in a relaxed flow or pursue meaningful activities: hiking, mountain biking or canoeing, with snow shoes or on skis. Our BioHof is the ideal staging point for trips and excursions into the fascinating depth of the Rhine gorge (Grand Canyon of Switzerland), through the wildly romantic Safien valley, and up to the breath-taking heights of the ibex colony of the Nature Park Beverin. You can also explore the cultural heritage of the Safien valley. The log houses of the Walser settlers, the mountain huts and and remote farm buildings that dot the landscape, powerful sacred places, and villages with massive stone palaces and narrow alleys are witnesses to the varied lifestyles of our ancestors.
A well equipped, light-filled studio awaits you - as solo traveller, as a couple, also with child - for a pleasant stay in the mountain village and the Nature Park Beverin. The Studio is equipped with beds for up to two people (an additional children's bed can be supplied); Mini kitchen with ample cooking equipment and dishes, dining table with 3 chairs. The bathroom is easily accessible with shower and towel warmer. WiFi/Internet is available. Linen, towels and kitchen towels are included. A small selection of books and children's toys for in- and outdoor use are supplied. Our studio is on the ground floor with private entrance. A patio is located next to it. There you can fully enjoy the sun as well as a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain peaks and the Safien valley. The village offers all the services you need as a self-caterer: our BioHof-farm store offers local and seasonal organic products. The local store supplies everything else for your daily need. You can take advantage of the BioHof-breakfast service. Or we can make a reservation for you in the Alpenblick restaurant - a short stroll away - for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
