"We were surprised that our paid reservation wasn’t listed by Expedia but the staff were able to clear up the situation. We weren’t aware that the morning breakfast feast was included in the reservation and it was an unbelievable display smorgasbord to experience. I would recommend this hotel for any travel wanting to be within walking distance to Olavinlinna as well."
"I was staying in the apartment and, unfortunately, it is mandatory to walk around 3minutes outside to reach the restaurant.
Since was cold, this is a little bit uncomfortable.
All the rest was perfect. Excellent room and facilities."
"Had a suite with a balcony with a excellent lake view.
The staff we're friendly. The room was a little disappointing. The balcony furniture was broken, and the door to the balcony was stiff and didnt open and close properly.
There was a kettle but it had to be used on the floor because that was the only electrical socket it would reach. For such a large room the bathroom was tiny, as it was clearly a later addition to the room, there was plenty of space to have made it much more functional...
"Staff upgraded our room to a great view of the lake for the sane price. The hotel is sithin walking distance of the boat rrides, fortress and restaurants. There is a forested island with trails adjacent to the hotel. We didnt make sure of the pool or spa but they looked wonderful"
"We visited Savonlinna for the Opera and stayed in this adorable little apartment. Very charming and beds were very comfortable. Close to the market and nature all around us. Can’t wait to come back!!!"
