"Everything good will recommend"

"Room was SMALL, but clean. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Bartender was AWFUL. She acted annoyed that we were there and kept disappearing for 20+ minutes at a time and we would have to ask other staff members to go find her. At one point, she started cleaning off the bar and we asked if she was getting ready to shut down (it was prior to 8pm). She replied that she was getting ready to get busy when the hockey team that was staying there returned after the game. Drink options at the...

"Good for the night stay"

"Well appointed B&B in the heart of Canton. Lovely rooms, super friendly staff and a breakfast guaranteed to start your day right! Super value #hiddengem"

"Northern is very comfortable and clean. Nice surprise being presented with a welcome bag with baked goodies. We will be staying longer during our next visit. The owners are very nice."

"Always get what we expect."

"Beautiful location and scenery, especially from the back balcony. Host meet us at check-in and was super nice. Susan offered to help us with any information in & around the area if we wanted. The roosters were the quietest ones I've ever heard. Although I do wear earplugs, I could still hardly hear them after taking my earplugs out. As mentioned, the kitchen has a two burner hot plate, but it worked just fine to cook up the amazing fresh eggs we were provided. Yogurt, milk, butter and English...

"Brenda was a wonderful host. Hidden gem can be found in Rocky Retreat. Ambling Brook and beautiful song birds were the perfect accompaniment to the Adirondack wood style accommodations."

"Really enjoyed the accommodations. Hosts were pleasant to visit with. The only thing I would have liked that wasn't there was a washer and dryer but I knew that before I booked.. Thank you to the hosts."

"What a great place to stay for our daughter's wedding! There was room for our family to stay comfortably. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more such as snacks, games, and wood for the campfire. The farm is centrally located for the Potsdam and Canton area. We enjoyed walking the trails behind the house and playing outdoors in the large, mowed areas. But most of all, what a great place to make memories. We made buckets of them with our family. All the...

"The house was good, Did have to go buy paper towels and firewood. They did provide firewood but you need a log splitter. The paddle boat had a big leak in it."

"Beautiful home! Literally a stones throw from the water very clean and thoughtfully decorated. The bathroom is stunning as well! The host was very communicative and responsive. If you're looking for a place to stay near the ADK, this should be your go to!"

"The best cabin and coolest location! My wife and I stayed five wonderful days and loved every moment. We spent time on the river, in the woods, and everywhere in between. If you like a mixture of creature comforts and rustic surroundings, this is the place for you. Will definitely be back!"

"Amazing privacy. Gorgeous riverside view. Beautiful trails. Lovely fragrant soaps, shampoos and lotions. Warm and cozy on a cold November night. Had scrambled eggs on the beautiful refurbished antique stove. A joy to use! Lovely details of magazines, books, binoculars, games, lovely coffee mugs, French Press setup, great cooking utensils and pots and pans. Truly memorable! Hope to be back for sure!!!"
