"I was very thankful that this property was exactly as described. It was a getaway for my husbands birthday and he loved every minute of it. The kitchen was fully stocked, which was awesome. I've lost count of how many times we've arrived at a rental only to find the bare minimum was provided (and sometimes not even that!) but that was certainly not the case here. The row boat/canoe and gym area were my sons favorite. I adored petting and feeding the horses. We all loved hiking along the creek....

"This is the second time I’ve stayed at the bungalow. It is near the river and quiet. You do have a train that comes by often, but it was to the thrill and amazement of my 10-year-old. We walked down to the river and fished a lot, which is only 100 yards from the bungalow. If you’re looking for granite countertops and an eight persons Jacuzzi, this might not be the place for you. "The stay in this vrbo was very cozy and just what we needed. It had everything necessary for a weekend trip. It was extremely convenient with an easy driving distance to all the activities and downtown. Very clean and well kept. The hot tub was a nice addition along with the porch swing and outdoor grill. "This is a charming house with tons of amenities. We loved our stay. It was a great home base for our WV adventures, located near many outdoor activities but in a calm, peaceful spot. "We LOVED our stay at the Shady Lady on Brownstone Ridge! The cabin was so clean and adorably decorated!! Best of all, the beds were super comfy. :) It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for cooking dinner after a day on the lake. As always, we LOVE Summersville and all of the friendly locals, especially at the Tractor Bar. Such a beautiful place to visit!! We can't wait to come back and stay there again. "My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! "

"Clean and newly remodeled. Loved the deck overlooking the river. Enjoyed watching the deer on the little island. Very peaceful. Lots of birds singing. Cool to see the trains pass by. Close To the town Hinton and the Sandstone Fall Nature center. Visited Sandstone Falls , Pipestem and Bluestone lake while staying at this property. Kitchen has everything you need . Has washer and dryer. Had elderly person with us who found it challenging climbing the hill to get to the house. If in the area again...
