"As we wanted to visit New River Gorge National Park, this house was centrally located & very close to Sandstone Visitor Center. Plan ahead for food & supplies, as it is remote and not much around. My husband wants to return! It's a beautiful area & loved seeing the river. We got used to daily visits from the train."

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary/birthday trip, we also brought our two dogs. Overall, had a wonderful experience! The cabin was beautiful and very well maintained. The only things I would want others to be made aware of was that it is somewhat close to a main road, so the road noise during the day can be a little loud. "Very nice, cozy cabin for 2 people. The size accomodated us well overall but the small beds did not make sleeping in the same bed the most comfortable.Cabin has everything needed and advertised. The fireplace, peaceful front porch and hot tub were all favorites of ours.Location can be a bit tricky the first day you arrive especially if at night because the cabins are located up on a hill behind a small body shop on street level. Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this cabin. "

"My 2 sisters and I are in our early 70’s. After doing the Bridge Walk we wanted to spend the night somewhere unique and that is exactly what the Skoolies are. Very clean, modern and more spacious than you would expect in a school bus. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well supplied, overall very nice. Only downside for us was outdoor spray showers with no enclosure (we washed off in bathroom sink). But would definitely stay again if occasion arises! Big thank you to Omar and Julie! "
