"We liked the layout and the good communication from the owner. One thing my family would have liked is to have full access on Hulu-not a huge deal but it would have been a nice thing to have. Also cleaning products for the eating surface. Everything else was great! "

"Quirky coastal architecture as expected. Beds were larger than photos. Air conditioners were excellent. Close to everything. Was surprised to note the abundant televisions, plentiful linens and towels and three convertible sofas. "

"The Units are gorgeous, 3 levels, parking carport, spacious and well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, whirlpool bath and Wireless throughout. The three ponds associated with the condos are just gorgeous, and walkable or bikable around each unit. There is an abundance of Painter Turtles, adults and babies swimming all around, and they even come to the shoreline to be fed. We had left over fruits or salad mix which they ate handily. The units have A/C which blew nice and cool, neighbors were...

"Stayed here for one night before camp drop off, plenty of room and super convenient to the town of Oriental. Didn’t get to enjoy much of the stuff around because it was a short day, but the bikes would’ve been loved by all. Hot water, cute house, great location- would gladly stay here again. "

"The photos and description are completely misleading. Photos are several years old from a realtor's listing in 2022 and apparently no upkeep has taken place since then. A few rooms were tolerably clean but there is exposed rat poison beside pots and pans, clutter and debris, half used food in the fridge and cupboards, etc., etc. We've filed a 9 page complaint with VRBO including lots of pictures asking for a refund. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this private waterfront retreat. It was the perfect weekend getaway to kayak. "

"This home was very clean and had a great private property with long dock and chairs to enjoy nature. We have never been to the area and is a bit remote so I'd recommend bringing food and supplies initially if you need. Great getaway spot to disconnect with plenty of amenities and fully furnished kitchen."

"OMG, I don't know where to begin. From the intital booking , through check in the experience was incredible. The home is exactly as advertised. Clean,modern, well appointed with very tasteful decore that was obviously well thought out. The kitchen is beautiful with nice top of the line appliances, not builder grade ! The location was perfect, just 10 mins from downtown New Bern. I will say, there was an odd " swaying " of the home. That didn't detract from the enjoyable stay. I will,...

"We had a great time at this beautiful new Inner Banks home. The property was spotless, with fresh, high-quality furnishings that made it feel both comfortable and upscale. The private water access was a wonderful feature, and while the fishing pier was a bit of a walk, it was worth it for the peaceful setting.The owners were excellent hosts—communicative, friendly, and extremely responsive to any questions we had.
