We alerted the manager , and on a 7 night stay was offered a $40 credit without an apology. "Staff were very pleasant and nice. TV in our room didn’t work. Given we were in the middle of the World Cup, we’re soccer fans, and we had a two night stay, that was a major inconvenience. Other than the reception personnel, no indication this was even attempted to be addressed and no offer of compensation. Did not make us feel valued."

"We loved the sophisticated feel of staying in an older, elegant home. The breakfast was amazing and so nicely served in the dining room. Our room was very nice, and large. What we didn’t enjoy was the hilly walk from the parking to the house then a narrow staircase to our room. It was quite challenging."

Understood what I was getting into with shared bathrooms, hearing other guests absolutely destroying the toilet while I'm taking a shower, not surprised the laundry card machine and multiple vending machines ate my change; it's whatever, I've stayed in student housing before and have had a great time. "Great for last minute overnight stay before catching a super early flight because of the proximity to the airport. Need a car to get to downtown, otherwise it’s a 40 min walk. Old-fashioned room with dated furniture."

"Liked: room size and layout; easy parking and access; closet layout. Clean Disliked: room fan/ac/ heat was impossibly loud making it difficult to sleep- hear the tv or even carry on a conversation. (Room 406) -1 for that issue. Desk staff were unhelpful and not typical of my previous NL experiences. Over a 4 night stay, we engaged at check in/out and 3 questions - they couldn’t care less and were of no help."
