"The rooms are beautifully decorated and the pub/hotel has a lovely oldie world feel to it. The surroundings were very peaceful. The service was also faultless - when we asked for a couple of things to be changed in the room it was done immediately. The Walnut Tree was excellent value for what we paid.

"Martin and Melanie are lovely hosts. B&B is a short walks from local pubs. The sunday lunch in the George was excellent.
Breakfast around the kitchen table with the other guests was a real treat. As was the various fruits from their garden.
Easy travel to numerous places including Stourhead and the Fleet Air Arm Museum. Great hosts highly recommended."

"Breakfast menu good and wholesome.
All staff and at all times were excellent.
Room clean but shower was not cleaned properly around door sliders, and mouldy sealant around especially bottom edges of shower tray. Toilet seat was loose as something had either come loose or broken. A socket next to bedside cabinet broken so not working.
Building very close to park and walking so very good position."

"Busy pub and there was only one member of staff working so we waited with our bags at the bar until a big order of drinks had been dealt with. The room was very comfortable, a couple of hairs in the sink. Decorated nicely with antiques. No sugar or milk in the room but we asked for some at the bar downstairs.
