"THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. "If i could Give a zero star i would.. NOTHING like the pictures. In the middle of nowhere with no service & the internet wasn’t working, then it was roach infested & rat droppings around the dishes. Grass and weeds had overtaken the steps and outside. Obviously hasn’t been kept up. Then The owners only refunded half of my amount back when i shouldve Gotten a full refund. 10/10 horrible experience when it should’ve been a great experience for my 35th birthday . "

We were given the wrong code in the email provided by Vrbo, and we had to contact the main Vrbo number which was time consuming - but the Vrbo team were able to get us in and the property owners called as well. "The house was perfect for our group of 5 adults and one child. Fish were active, even in December. Channel cats, bullheads, and largemouth all. The house is very well provisioned and the modern refresh was tastefully done. Great location and value."
