"Very attractive home in a great neighborhood. Working with the owner was great. Our favorite area was the backyard patio. We ha great weather. Our next favorite area was the kitchen/ family room. It was large enough for 8 adults to sit around and talk."

"Beautiful property. Since there are not kitchen facilities we had trouble cooking but as long as there is no expectation of eating at the property you will be fine!"

"Amazing host, very attentive to any issues. This place is in a very safe and quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and gas stations nearby. Host has lights down the driveway to the door, I really appreciated that since we had our grandmother with us. The apartment its self is very private and beautiful. Its wonderfully decorated and I really loved that they had board games and books for guests. The beds were really comfortable and the pillow were good quality."

"Perfect location so close to Great Lakes Naval Base! We couldn’t have asked for a better location. The house was lovely and had many thoughtful amenities. We would definitely stay again. "

"A super nice get away! Granddaughters & son came out for 2 days & enjoyed the beach, kayaking & game fun on the huge deck. We stayed the remaining time & enjoyed watching people launch their boats & other lake activities from the public pier area. It is super clean & very comfortable. I will definitely go back!"

"We had a fantastic stay! The host was very accommodating and made check-in incredibly easy—allowing us to arrive much earlier than the usual time, which we really appreciated. The property layout was perfect for our group, with a separate unit that offered added privacy for some family members. The kitchen was impressively stocked, including three refrigerators and all the pots, pans, utensils, and plates we needed (though the can openers didn’t work, it wasn’t a big deal).The hot tub was warm...

"It was an absolute delight. It is a beautiful home. Wonderful for Navy bootcamp famlies at graduation, 3 minutes from base!"

"Home suited our needs perfectly. Only suggestion would be to have some basic toiletries in the bathrooms, such as shampoo or bars of soap. The bedroom with the bunkbeds needs one or two small nightstands, so you can put a phone or bottle of water near the bed instead of on the floor. Ended up using a cardboard box as my table. But would definitely come back."

"Hosts went above and beyond to accommodate my senior mother with a private bed on main level. They were also accommodating on other requests that I had. It was such a fun, nostalgic place. It was all exactly how I remembered the Old Mill to be and the private beach made for some additional family time. I see a wonderful future for this getaway place!! "

"This home is as comfortable and well equipped as described, with a very "homey" feel that is easy to settle into. Given its location, and the surrounding area, you may be deceived to think that its in more of a neighborhood or busy more urban location. It's quite the contrary. Once you've entered the home, and are out on the beautiful property, you are in your own private oasis that could be located in any North woods location. It's quiet and peaceful the entire stay, be it on the large deck or...

"It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect, exactly what was described. And the backyard looks even better in person than in the photos. Very relaxing property with a ton of space to fit 15 people and more! 10/10, we will be back!"

"My son graduated from Naval Bootcamp and had liberty with us until Sunday. This was the perfect place for our stay- clean, safe, peaceful, and with excellent communication throughout. "Infelizmente, minha experiência neste hotel foi extremamente decepcionante. A hospedagem deixou muito a desejar: o quarto é velho e estava sujo, com cheiro de mofo e visivelmente sem manutenção adequada. A limpeza pareceu inexistente — encontrei cabelos no banheiro, poeira acumulada nos móveis e até roupa íntima do hóspede anterior ainda presente. Só tinha um elevador funcionando, tempo de espera para subir e descer era grande, o frigobar não funcionava e a piscina também não estava funcionando. Definitivamente não recomendo este local e não pretendo retornar. Esperava, no mínimo, um ambiente limpo e acolhedor, o que está muito longe do que encontrei."
