- Fishing rods and buckets are in the garage, so you can fish right from the dock (a Florida fishing licence is required for visitors 16 and over)
- Wildlife is part of the charm. Herons, egrets and ospreys are regular visitors, and you may spot turtles or the occasional alligator in the canal. Please keep children away from the water's edge and never feed the wildlife

- 4 bikes in the garage. The private Rotonda park with tennis courts is a 3-minute ride
- Englewood about 10 minutes, with Stump Pass Beach State Park and Boca Grande also close by
