"Road to the cabin was deeply rutted/potholed in many places. We felt the on-line listing was not accurate: an updated outhouse is not a bathroom; a sink with a hot plate/no cooking utensils does not make a kitchen/kitchenette. We didn't think the water was potable as it had a brownish tinge, so we had to double back to the truck stop for food and liquids. Night-long noise from I-40 truck traffic was annoying. The cabin was "OK" for watching stars through the ceiling as the glass was obstructed...

"I love this little cabin. It was just what I needed for a few days of quiet chill time before hitting the road on a coast to coast road trip. The one room cabin is a perfectly restored and updated space with a beautiful bathroom and a respectable kitchen area - having a countertop convection oven in addition to the microwave was a big plus. Outside of some minor cleaning glitches my stay was awesome and there’s plenty to explore in this beautiful high altitude forested area. "

"This was the most unique and pleasant place that we stayed on our 2 week trip to Arizona and California! We stayed on Memorial Day after visiting the Grand Canyon and it certainly was a memorable stay! It's an organic farm set in the desert mountains near Kingman, Arizona run by a young family and friends who raise fruits, vegetables and meat on their farm. There is the option to purchase dinner and breakfast which come from the organic food on the farm-the cooking was delicious! A campfire is...

"Communication (and directions) from the host was good. The location was remote and near good walking trails, yet also a short drive to services in town. Night sky was great. Be aware that the dirt access road is very rocky with deep ditches and may scrape low clearance cars. This rental is overpriced for the condition it is in. The cottage building itself is in significant disrepair. The “clean” dishes were dirty. It was also filled with stuff inside, barely room to put a dog bed down...
