"A lovely comfortable space in gorgeous peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed a drink on the patio area behind the annexe & Luis was very helpful with ice for us, as well as driving & parking recommendations. There were thoughtful treats & breakfast items for us also. Highly recommended for couples & we’d have loved to have stayed longer. "

"We booked this cozy cottage for two weeks in mid-October. Donna was wonderful. She reached out prior to the stay to chat through the VRBO site and as we got closer she shared things to do and see in Louisburgh and other close towns. We communicated through Whats App once we landed at Shannon Airport (2.5 hours away). She met us at the house to show us how to use the applicances, turn on the water to the showers, lock the doors, etc. She also had flowers and a card for our wedding anniversary...

"Fabulous home and location!! Perfect for a large group including all ages. My wife, baby and I stayed in the attached studio, while my parents, mother in law, sister and nephews where in the 4-bedroom 2-bathroom main house. Incredible views no matter the weather, thanks to the full window walls. Electric window shades when we wanted privacy. Walked to the local beach. Drove three minutes to charming Louisburgh. "Eight of us stayed in Jimmy's home as our base for climbing Croagh Patrick. The home was sited beautifully just outside of Westport and impeccably clean. There was space for eating outdoors, which was a must given how pretty the property is. Jimmy was a great host and timely answered all questions we had before the stay. If you're looking for a cozy, beautiful home in the Westport area, you cannot do better than this property. It won "best house" in our after-trip poll. "

"Excellent home for 3 generation family ages 8 to 80. Plenty of room for the kids inside and out and separate from the adults. Beautiful Clew Bay views from the house, quiet peaceful walks by the sea in the mornings and evenings, and good surfing beaches nearby. Conor & Carol were immediately responsive to all questions and requests. Highly recommend this home for anyone. "

"A quaint, older home that is great for groups and children. The home was very cleanly. It’s close to the city center. You could walk to town in approximately 25-30 minutes; however, it’s quite hilly and there aren’t walking paths initially. Friendly and fast communication with the host. Had all the amenities we needed. Would stay again!"

"There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. A table broken since October has not been fixed 6 months later.I...
