"Very nice well kept tiny house. We felt very comfortable and slept great. It had a great little deck overlooking a pond. Only a couple of minor issues - the house is pretty close to the highway so there was some road noise but a fan in the bedroom provided enough white noise to cover it. Also, be aware the cell service was limited. We have ATT and were not able to use cellular. The house does however provide wifi with internet so one can utilize that for texting and wifi calling. "We all loved this home so very much that we are thinking about already booking for next summer. From the perfect location, beautiful home and decor to the relaxing back patio to hang out on and wait for deer to wander up. The house was so clean with plenty of towels for everyone and the kitchen was stocked with any dishes we may have needed. Host was friendly and communicated so very well. Can't wait to return!! "

"This home is gorgeous and very spacious. The sun room windows look out to the lake and is the best view in the house. The kitchen was well equipped. The steep hill to the lake may be difficult for some, but we had no problems. The kayaks were easily accessible. The Bald Eagles on the lake were an unexpected bonus for this property. The owners communication was excellent! We would definitely stay there again."

"The house is adorable and equipped with everything you need. We enjoyed the kayaks, swimming and fishing off the dock. My 6 year old had a ball catching one small fish after another. It rained a lot during our stay but the huge front porch is the perfect spot for eating and playing games, rain or shine. "

"Julia's Cottage was the perfect place to stay to get away from it all and to rest and relax. As a host, Vicki was always available, always communicating and helping with whatever was needed, while at the same time helping with suggestions of how to make the stay better! The check in and out process was easy, the stay was perfect, the area was very clean! Looking forward to staying here again in the near future!"

"There is almost no where to stay in Gilmer, but this cabin was perfect. You can hear the road noise, but it’s really not horrible. We have family of 6, with kids between the ages of 1-14. Everyone had their own bed, and our older kids thought the loft was really cool. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. The A/C works great. My kids enjoyed walking the property too. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit family. "

"We had a great time. It’s a wonderful space with room for everyone. It has pretty much everything you need and some stuff you didn’t know you needed. The neighborhood is very quiet so don’t play your music too loud. We had a very nice time here."
