We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment! It was clean and very spacious for four people. The location is excellent - so convenient to walk to Trevi, Spanish steps, Pantheon, and a close metro stop (Barberini). A must eat at restaurant right next door to the building is Colline Emiliane. And, our host, Germana, was very informative and communicative with any issues. We will definitely stay there again!

Loved the area and ease of walking, metro and taxi availability. Great space for 5 friends/family with a large living area where we enjoyed lunch every day after long, hot morning tours. AC worked well.

Appartment in Rome close to major sights

Great apartment within walking distance to most major attractions such as the Colosseum, Forum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. Vatican city was a quick Subway ride with the station about a minute away from the property.Host was proactive in communications, arranged transportation from the airport to the apartment, and made access to the property very easy. This all makde for a stress free stay.The only negative of the property, and this is not the fault of the host, was the swifts that nested outside by the back bedroom. They made a lot of noise starting at 5:30am each morning but this did have us up early and ready to see the sights before the heat of the mid day sun kicked in.Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Rome.

Excellent Location

Excellent location, ride service is very convenient, check in is difficult, no cell service by the door and need it to get in luckily someone came out and let us in. Got upstairs and used code to enter apt, then used key for lower door during stay. Furnishings are different than the pictures. Wasn't enough blankets for all the beds. Overall enjoyed out stay and would stay here again.

Great Location

The first time driving in Rome, so it was a little intimidating as we pulled into the small street the apartment is on. The garage is very close and friendly. We found the apartment per the directions, what a great central location! I would highly recommend staying here!

The apartment was clean and spacious with all the amenities you need. It was just a couple of blocks from the Trevi Fountain! The elevator worked well.When we arrived we were exhausted from traveling and didn't notice the room with twin beds was actually a trundle bed . There were no sheets on one wersheets

Nice clean modern apartment in a great location. There was a lift to the 4th floor which was very handy to have. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well appointed. The only one complaint was the large TV in the living room. We could never get it to work and there was no response from the host on how to remedy the problem. Small glitch but still annoying.

Callous hit-or-miss check-in process

Host uses a wireless check-in procedure that doesn’t work in the narrow alleyway surrounded by tall buildings. Sometimes there is no reception; this is a fact. It took us about 25 minutes of running to a nearby hotel that graciously gave us their password to connect then opening the building door from there….No coffee machine as mid-advertised and shown in the picture (but there were still instructions on the wall on how to use the non-existent machine. Four bottles of balsamic vinegar, no oil to cook with. No spatula to flip eggs or pancakes.Host needs to meet people in person - or try another business.

Extrêmement bien placé !

Nous avons séjourné une semaine avec ma mère et mes ados. L'appartement est mignon et idéalement situé pour vadrouiller et se restaurer dans le centre de Rome. Nous avons apprécié toutes les petites attentions : serviettes de différentes tailles, savons, gels douche, pastilles pour le lave-vaisselle, le dispositif pour accéder à l'appartement de façon autonome, les guides mis à dispositions...) L'ascenseur est le bienvenu après de longues journées de marche La propriétaire est disponible et réactive. Nous ne recommandons pas le service de navette (la propriétaire n'est pas responsable de la piètre qualité des taxis italiens :-D), autant utiliser Uber. La chambre double côté cour est très agréable, confortable et calme. Le fait d'avoir 2 salles de bain et 2 WC est très pratique quand nous sommes plusieurs. Seuls bémols, les 2 autres chambres côtés rue sont bruyantes (nous sommes en cœur d'une ville touristique et ils profitent de la nuit pour nettoyer et réaliser les livraisons) : prévoyez des bouchons d'oreille.J'enlève une étoile car 2 des matelas mériteraient d'être changés : ils sont beaucoup trop mous. Pour autant, si nous devions revenir à Rome, nous reprendrions cet appartement que je vous recommande.

Too Small

4th floor with tiny elevator. Only 2 can ride at a time. Dining area was roomy, but dining table was not one in the pictures. It’s an old unlevel wood table with an old tablecloth. Bathrooms far too small. No shelf in either shower to set soap or shampoo. Host only provided 1 bath towel per person for an 8 night stay. We had to purchase our own garbage bags and toilet paper, as well as coffee. Host provided coffee , but not enough to last even 2 days. Same with toilet paper. Host told us to wash our towels, but there is no dryer in apartment and it rained everyday. Vacations are not for doing laundry or shopping for necessities that should have been provided. Pillow in one of the beds was so hard that it hurt our ears every night. Luckily we spent as little time at the VRBO as possible. Bottom line: Loved Rome. Disappointed in our accommodations.

Perfect Location

Perfect location all touring sites were within walking distance including plenty of restaurant choices. American Breakfast offered at some locations. Supermarkets are just a few blocks away offering many items. Pharmacy’s and Cafe Bars. It’s a great place for that home away from home feeling.

Ok location

The location of this property was good for exploring Rome. It's proximity to buses and the Metro had it easy to get around the city. A couple of things that might be helpful for future travelers: - The transportation service from the airport was perfect for our group of five. It was nice to have someone pick us up from the airport and drop us off directly in front of the apartment building. - The beds at this location are not very comfortable. You could feel the springs poking through one of the queen beds. - Due to the age of the building and its location, it can get quite noisy from the people outside and garbage trucks coming through at night. Ear plugs were a must! - We had a minor problem with communication around early check-in. We arranged to have an early check-in and were only informed it was no longer available after I reached out the day before we arrived for final details about the transportation service. We were refunded the early check-in fee and everything worked out, but it would have been quite a shock if we had shown up expecting to have an early check-in and then informed we couldn't get in.
