Nice stay, great host!

Nice place to stay for a while in Rome, guest is nice and reliable, he helped us a lot during our stay especially our luggages during our car breakdown. Hope to see you again on our visit to Rome!

숙박시설은 만족하였지만 위치가 너무 시내와 떨어져 이동이 불편함

Terrible, no comentan el mismo error.

Es una habitación en un cuarto piso sumamente estrecho, cerrado en paredes livianas, sin entrepiso, lo que hace que cualquier ruido de las demás habitaciones se escuche, al extremo de que golpean las paredes para que uno deje de conversar. Nos engañaron con las fotografías y las dimensiones del apartamento, habíamos contratado un apartamento con dos habitaciones y nos alojaron en una habitación donde con dificultades se podía caminar. Para cerrar con broche de oro, el personal se ofreció a reservar un taxi para nuestro traslado al aeropuerto en la madrugada, nos confiamos y el taxi nunca llego casi perdemos el vuelo.

Awful experience

Read the review for a year ago and our experience was the exact same. We made the reservation for the apartment in Rome downtown. That is the place we chose for our stay and the map, address and pictures showed that as well. Next day we received the instructions with the address to the apartment. We arrive in Rome an take a taxi. To our surprise the taxi takes us to a place 30 minutes out of the city, to a "sister property" not the one we booked. Talk about bait and switch!!! We explained this to the property owners and they said it was Expedia' s fault. They yelled and screamed threatening us with kicking us out since we were asking them to correct their mess. We ended up calling a taxi, after spending 4 hours of our valuable vacation time and ended up at the Ariston Hotel in the city. I expect Hotels.com to give me a refund for our non stay!!!

Nice appartment, perfect location!

I would stay here again for sure. Located just two blocks from the Spanish Steps the location is perfect. Note, there is no front desk so we had to call and wait for someone to meet us to check us in.

Appartement mitten in der Innenstadt

Wir wurden von Manuela und Mirko empfangen, die uns das liebevoll eingerichtete Appartement (Via della Scrofa 102) erklärten und Tipps für die Umgebung gaben. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten waren problemlos zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Restaurantempfehlung für den Silvesterabend bei Alfredo gleich nebenan war ein perfekter Tipp. Die Tischreservierung erledigte Mirko für uns. Bei Fragen war Manuela am Handy erreichbar. Die letzte Nacht verbrachten wir in einem deutlich größeren Appartement in der Via del Corso 71. Ein sehr herrschaftliches Ambiente mit alten Kassettendecken und zwei Bädern ließ keine Wünsche offen. Den Umzufg organisierten einschließlich der Taxifahrt Manuela und Mirko. Herzlichen Dank für fünf wunderbare Tage in Rom.

Nice, large apartment in the center of it all!

Great, large apartment right on Via del Corso, four blocks from the Spanish steps. It is amazing how well the sound insulation works. It's so quiet in the room, while there are artists singing with amplifiers right outside. The only negative I can think of is the shower. It's tiny (in a large bathroom), has some mildew, and is extremely difficult to figure out. The kitchenette is perfect, clean and well stocked with a large refrigerator (at least for Europe) and a full freezer. It's really a great place especially for extended stayers that might like to eat in on occasion.

Not luxurious

On 4th floor no lift.lights not working in living room and shower only gave hot water sometimes.no oven in kitchen just hob.master bed very uncomfortable and springs in sofa bed poking through mattress.advertised as 2 bed apartment but is 1 bed with sofa bed in living room with only a divider from living room to test of apartment.

Really Bad Experience

Really bad experience!!! The picture and location map showed during my booking at Hotel.com were totally different as what i was given even the confirmation email showed are also the same as my booking information. Upon Check-in the hotel lady ask us to waiting for several hours as the room was not ready. No problem, we left all my luggages and came back at 12:45pm as told. Surprising me that she told me my room was not in that building and they moved all my luggages to another location and ask me to go to another building. I presented the confirmation email sent by Hotel.com with exactly the same address and room photos and the location map. The hotel people said it is not their fault and would not offer me the same room as showed on the hotel voucher. I had complained to Hotel.com right away by email but nothing reply up to the moment. The hotel people insisted me and my family to leave their building and the choice was accept the room not as same as I booked or take back my luggages and leave!!!! I will also complaint to Hong Kong consumer council about this unreasonable and irresponsible arrangement from Hotel.com and the Hotel after I come back to HK.
