Great Apartment With View On St Peterā€™s Dome.

The apartment is located in a 4 storeys building from the 1930ā€™s with 10 apartments in total. From the windows you can admire the dome of St. Peter and the green hill of Monte Mario with Villa Miani. It was designed with double windows for soundproofing, air conditioning and independent heating. It is located 1.2 Km (15 minutes) from St. Peter's Basilica, 650m (8minutes) from the Vatican Museums, 550m (7 minutes) from the Ottaviano station metro. Within walking distance there are two supermarkets, an excellent ice cream shop, various restaurants that meet all tastes and needs (even for vegans). With a ten minutes walk you will find yourself strolling through one of the most famous shopping streets, via Cola di Rienzo, then, crossing the Regina Margherita bridge you will reach the famous and central Piazza del Popolo. The house is therefore ideally located to visit the sights, monuments and museums of the eternal city. The apartment has a single room and a double bedroom, a large lounge with double sofa bed, a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. The apartment has all the comforts: dishwasher, washing machine, wifi and air conditioning, shower and bidet.

The fee is inclusive of bed linen, towels and all consumptions.
Check in: between 15 and 20.30
Check out: before 10:30.
Arrivals or departures after or before the indicated times have an extra cost of 20 euros up to 22.30 hours after 22.30 the price is 30 euros until 24h00 It is possible to check in by 01.00amwith an extra of 50 euros.
Check in and check out time are to be agreed during festivity.
The use of the sofa bed in case the number of beds is sufficient to the number of guests, has an extra cost of 10euro per stay.


LOCATION

The apartment is located in the lively Aurelio neighbourhood, the western area of the city, close to the majestic Vatican walls and the ancient Aurelian Walls. In a couple of steps, you will be able to immerse yourself in an authentic Roman neighbourhood where you will get in touch with the customs of the inhabitants of the city, you will have the opportunity to enjoy some restaurants that arenā€™t yet touristic like simple and tasty ā€œpizza al taglioā€ and trattorias.Summing up, this is the perfect place to savour the ā€œrealā€ Rome without giving up the comfort of reaching the city centre and major tourist attractions. The St. Peter's Basilica, the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums, the famous Piazza Navona and the charming Campo dei Fiori are at a short distance as well as for the archaeological area of the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.The surroundings of the apartment are very animated offering a great shopping area and a wide variety of Italian and foreign restaurants.

Roma vacation

We were in Roma for 4 weeks, the apartment was ideal for our plans. Metro was a short walk to be able to visit all the sights. The Vatican was within walking distance. There were numerous excellent restaurants within walking distance. The was an amazing bakery located across the street with excellent choices for breakfast. The gelato shop on the corner was the best gelato we have even had. Check in went reasonable well we arrived later then expected and baggage took longer then usual. The driver was impatient which made it very trying to start our vacation. The lift in the building is difficult to get more then 2 people in no luggage would be able to be on the lift with you. We had the best vacation we have ever had because the apartment was so convenient for us to travel from it to the train station and to,travel to all the other locations we wanted to visit.

The communication with Marta was great! My questions were immediately answered. I was able to reach her at any time. Also, she made transportation arrangements that I needed from the airport to the apartment. I enjoyed my stay ver much and I would definitely share it with everyone.

This might be the right rental for you or...

.. it might not, dependent upon what you need. This apartment is large, with lots of room for two or more people. It is very clean. It is close to at least two excellent restaurants, gelato, groceries and is walking distance to the Metro. It has a washer no dryer. Kitchen is fully equipped. The building is quiet. If you're a light sleeper this is probably not the rental for you. Because it is located directly across from the Flower Market the street noise starts at about 530 am six days a week. Trucks pulling in and out, people shouting, etc. until around 8 am. If you need three beds this rental may not work for you. The apartment is advertised as having a double, a single and a sofa bed. However the single bed is in fact a cot - not comfortable to sleep on for an adult. The cot is narrow, with a thin mattress. Renters are provided with two towels each. But there are no linens for the kitchen so renters must provide their own paper towels or wipe their hands on their pants. If you don't expect to cook in the apartment this probably wouldn't bother you. Property manager responded to our inquiry by saying the two bath towels are what they provide. This apartment has the strangest toilet flushing mechanism we've experienced. Not sure why the owner hasn't had them replaced. Lift the mat on the wall, reach into the wall and pull up on the plastic pieces held together with a twist tie. It works, but why not have a handle on the toilet?

lovely neighbourhood

I spent 4 nights at this apartment together with my family (4 adults and 1 child) - the flat is very spacious, light and welcoming. The best thing is the neighbourhood which is very lively, with plenty of restaurants and cafes and not touristy at all. My only complaints are that it's right opposite the flower market (where they started working at 4am and it's very noisy until about 6am! so not for the light sleepers... ) and the sofa bed is not comfortable. Wonderful Place

This worked out really well for us. The apartment was very comfortable and the location was close to most of the places we wanted to visit. There is a Carrefour supermarket right around the corner, a coffee shop literally next door and a Pharmacy and a gelateria on the next block. There is a wonderful little cafe across the street. The Vatican is a short walk away and bus stops and the metro are convenient as well. We can't say enough good things about our experience here. Check in and check out were easy. Great Neighborhood; Great Apartment

We wanted to stay near friends for our week in Rome and this apartment worked perfectly: large, gracious, near transport and very interesting shops and restaurants (Sicilia Imbocca restaurant, Arcobalena bookstore.) The apartment is very well equipped and well laid out, with a complete and efficient kitchen, good wifi, and lots of light. We greatly enjoyed our stay and recommend it highly.

Appartement bien grand et bien tenu.

TrĆØs joli appartement, pas loin du Vatican. Heureusement qu'il y a la climatisation, au vu de la tempĆ©rature extĆ©rieure. Il y a un petit marchand de fruits et lĆ©gumes (de grande fraĆ®cheur, tenu par de vrais romains, trĆØs sympathiques)juste Ć  deux pas sur la gauche de la sortie principale de l'immeuble. De bons restaurant pas loin, des glaciers et une super pĆ¢tisserie Sicilienne, tenue par des jeunes super sympas. Un sĆ©jour rĆ©ussi, sauf que je ne sais pas pourquoi le lit de la chambre de mon fils n'Ć©tait pas pourvue en draps ???? A contrĆ“ler lors de la prise en possession des lieux !

Fantastic apartment

This property is beautiful and full of charming character. It's located closely to the best ice cream parlour in Rome and a quick taxi ride to the centre. Communication between the owner and transfer manager was stress free and easy. Highly recommend we loved it.

Beautiful home

This beautiful apartment made our vacation a wonderful experience. It was even more beautiful than the photos, and the little extras like soap, tea, coffee and other sundries were very appreciated. The location meant we could walk to the Vatican and we were in a lovely neighbourhood away from the rushing crowds. It was quiet and picturesque. We would most highly recommens this property. Should we ever travel to Rome again, we would certainly stay at this lovely property. The owners were prompt in answering any queries and were extremely helpful.

Schƶne, groƟe Wohnung im Prati. Es fehlt an nichts. Bushaltestellen fĆ¼r Busse in unmittelbarer NƤhe, ebenso BƤcker und Supermarkt. Eine Wohnung zu wohlfĆ¼hlen. Allerdings bringt der Blumenmarkt auf der gegenĆ¼berliegenden StraƟenseite morgens ab 04.00 Uhr "Leben in die Bude". Aber nur bei offenem Fenster!! So ist eben Rom!!

Spacious and Lovely

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. It was spacious, clean and lovely. No issues with management or our stay. Their drivers were excellent. Would recommend. It is extremely convenient to the Vatican, but for other sites it is a bit remote and requires use of taxis or public transport. Several metro stations were closed while we were there, but the bus was reliable.

Lā€™appartamento ĆØ accogliente e comodo e corrisponde alla descrizione. Anche se il quartiere non offre particolari attrattive turistiche ĆØ ben servito e la posizione ĆØ ottima per visitare il Vaticano. A 10 minuti a piedi si trova la fermata metro Ottaviano da cui si raggiungono le principali mete turistiche della cittĆ .
