Disappointing not worth the money!

Run by a big rental place not cared for or put together with any love TOTALLY OVERPRICED FOR THE EXPERIENCE. We were here in a heat wave. None of the AC in all three bedrooms worked well. They responded promptly but could not help except to send someone to clean out vents on our last day. They said theyā€™d be over in the morning but showed up at 6pm. Too little too late. I understand itā€™s Europe we are not crazy high end needs but this was essential. NO coffee maker like a nespresso. A few bad frying pans all bent and scratched up. ONE hand towel, no paper towel, bad toilet paper. NO microwave. Bad cheap tea kettle. THE BEDS- awful, bouncy springs with thin mattresses, the twin beds in the second room were teeny maybe ok for kids scratchy sheets if you have a bad back the beds were terrible. The headboards did not stick to the beds and in the big bedroom were falling down. SO dusty and dirty behind the beds it all felt dirty. The pulley on shades broke last day. Pros - check in and customer service was prompt and it has a tiny lift so for anyone who cannot handle the long flights up it worked well and was very helpful. excellent location w a view with terrace overlooking Largo Argentina. Very nice in the middle of many things but not as crowded as pantheon and trevi area.Nice cafe next door for a drink or easy breakfast I recommend the maritozzi with a cappuccino! next door to mercato so great to get quick lunch or supplies of food milk water etc.

Walking distance to everything in Rome

The location of this apartment was amazing in almost every respect. It was a 5 min walk to the Jewish Quarter, 10 min walk to the cute neighborhood of Trastavere across the river, and within 10-min walking distance to all the sites in the city center. Also only 30 min walks to the Vatican, Colosseum, and Spanish Steps, and a taxi stand was right outside the apartment when we decided not to walk someplace. The best part about the location was also the worst in terms of finding authentic, delicious Italian meals. Because the apartment is in the tourism center, we were surrounded by gimmicky, touristy restaurants where the food was nothing special and served by foreign servers. Not the Stanley Tucci experience by any stretch. After a couple of days, we caught on and went searching farther for better food. The neighborhoods near the Spanish Steps, Barberini, and Trastavere were better spots to walk around and find good trattorias. In terms of the apartment itself, it's very spacious for 4 people and has a lot of Italian charm. There were 3 A/C units that worked very well. We were there in June when it was hot, and the apartment was very cool and comfortable. The bathrooms are also equipped with hair dryers made for Italian outlets. The view outside the terraces was amazing -- the ruins at Largo Di Argentina, which we learned is where Julius Caesar was stabbed 23 times. Sounds morbid but it was actually a great place to have morning coffee.

1st Experience in Roma

The host was extremely helpful walking us through the apartment and things to look out for. He recommended several great places to eat as well as different driving services and coffee shops!! I highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful time at this apartment. The location is perfect. Walking distance to most of the sites. The apartment was larger than it appears in the photos. The property manager was quick to respond to all of our questions and check in with Alessandro was a breeze. Would definitely recommend.

Large comfortable apartment with even better view

Our family of four stayed three nights. The agent communicated with us as we were delayed in arriving. He meet us at the front door when we arrived and explained everything we needed to know. The building is located in a busy square but on a large pedestrian walkway. It was also quiet. The location across the walkway from ancient ruins was wicked cool. We could also walk to many of the attractions. Just blocks away was a quiet square with many restaurants with more amazing ruins. If ever back in Rome I would try to book this apartment again.

Great location, a view and a comfortable stay.

This apartment is centrally located within a fairly easy 30-minute walk of nearly of all the major sights of ancient Rome. Unlike just about all the other apartments I looked at, this 5th floor unit, overlooking the ā€œArea Sacra di Largo Argentinaā€ archaeological site [which dates back from 2,050 to nearly 2,400 years ago], allows one a nice wide view and setting sun, instead of an alley, other windows or a wall. Pros: This is off the street, so car exhaust ā€“ engine noises are not as pronounced as with other places. The apartment is very roomy and nicely laid out. There is only this and one other apartment on this floor with the elevator right at the front door. 3 step out balconies. Air Conditioners: 3 room A/C units with remote controls all work very well [one in each bedroom and one for the living room] cools each room rapidly and maintains good temperatures. This is a safe location as far as I am concerned, lots of people around, an outdoor restaurant feet away and 3 keys required to get into the apartment. Sidewalk door, elevator door [you need to unlock the hall door to get off the elevator], and a specialized front door key for the apartment. There are 3 local small grocery stores within a short walk. Tiger, nearly next door on the south corner (there is also a Tiger products store on the north corner), Pam ā€“ a 4 minute walk to the east towards the Monument to Victor Emmanuel and the Supermercato Carrefour Express ā€“ 3 minutes north. This is a great place to stay

The apartment was great and the location was fantastic and central to everything we wanted to see and do. The view out of apartment windows was exactly as advertised and amazing. The apartment was roomy for 2 couples. Just wish there was 4 comfortable lounge chairs in lounge room and more pillows on the beds and that the Second room bed could be converted to a double would be nice. Otherwise the perfect place to stay.

Wonderful holiday

The location could not be better! The home was lovely. There was a very sweet bar/restaurant just outside the entry that served the best drinks and food you could ask for - got at least a nightcap there every evening. We were within walking distance to most everything! Clean, comfortable and charmingly furnished. We loved it! My husband, and two grandchildren (17&18).

Everything we needed!

Beautiful apartment near cafe/reataurants/coffee/groceries/taxis! We did take taxis to sights but very inexpensive 6-10euro. We stayed in for dinner our last night and enjoyed the sunset and people passing by. Our favorite spot was looking at all the cats coming out at night and letting the people petting them. Enjoyed apartment immensely

Perfect location!

This was the perfect location for our first stay in Rome. The Pantheon was 2 short blocks away. We walked to the Colosseum, Trevi, Trastevere and the shopping district. The only place we used a taxi was the Vatican, and to he train station with our luggage. The balcony over looks the ruins, and the apartment is furnished with antiques. The one queen bed and 2 twins were perfect for my family, as well as the 2 bathrooms and a small clothes washer. I canā€™t wait to come back!

Magnifique!!

Excellent sĆ©jour dans cette ville toujours aussi merveilleuse, en partie grĆ¢ce Ć  ce bel appartement ancien, parfaitement situĆ© pour gagner les points d'intĆ©rĆŖt importants lors d'une 1ĆØre visite, comme c'Ć©tait le cas pour ma petite fille de 10 ans. Nous avons adorĆ© l'appartement, trĆØs propre, trĆØs confortable et trĆØs "classe"! La vue sur le site archĆ©ologique de la Torre Argentina (et les chats!) est magnifique, de jour comme de nuit. Tout s'est parfaitement organisĆ© pour l'accueil Ć  l'aĆ©roport, la remise des clĆ©s, les explications. Juste un petit point pourrait ĆŖtre amĆ©liorĆ©: le matĆ©riel de cuisine ( une ou deux marmites pour cuire les pĆ¢tes! une rĆ¢pe Ć  fromage, un Ć©pluche-lĆ©gumes...) ƀ part cela, il me semble que rien ne manque! Merci pour ce beau sĆ©jour.

Fantastic Roman Apartment

We stayed for a week and loved everything about this apartment. The location can not be beat - easily walkable to most neighborhoods, center, Trastevere, Testaccio, Monti. There is a taxi stand within sight of the door, so getting to farther locations - Vatican, Airport etcā€¦ - was a breeze. We had some concern that the apartment could be noisy being on a big piazza but it was plenty quiet. We had also read that there had been some safety questions from previous years, but the hosts were able to answer all of our questions ahead of time and actually the building and the apartment seemed extremely safe. We were totally comfortable with our two kids. The view from the windows and balconies is really something special.

Excellent location

This is absolutely superbly located, being 5 minutes walk to Pantheon, Navona, Campo di Fiori, 10 minutes walk to Trastevere or Forum, 15 minutes walk to Colosseum or Trevi and of course overlooking the ruins and cats of Largo di Torre Argentina. There are plentiful taxis on the square too. Inside, the decor is old fashioned but clean and comfortable throughout. There are quite a few rules and things to be aware of in an old property which they tell you about on check in. The lift is very old for instance with limited capacity but can take a person and a suitcase or 2 people at a time. There are small balconies, and two small outdoor chairs provided. The balconies are west facing so get the sun in the afternoon. We very much enjoyed sitting out there watching the goings on. The kids room with the twin beds also has a balcony but you can pull shutters down to help restrict access if you would eather not have children unsupervised on the balconies. When the doors to the balcony are open the noise of the city come in, but we never really noticed noise when they were closed and we slept well. Overall, we would recommend.

Great location

I have all good things to say. Just a word of caution about the elevator/lift. It is small. And we got stuck in it. After that incident, we were provided the keys so the stairs were an option.
