"Immaculately presented room and hotel in the town centre, staff very friendly"

"I had booked a 4 night stay for some r&r choosing to stay in the manor house. My 1st day there was a wedding being held at the Manor House, some facilities not available or restricted. I had not been informed of this event, my day of r&r sadly not forthcoming. An outdoor pool was not available, in the middle of a heatwave, apparently our of season in July. The rooms I was able to enter in the manor house are tired and need a refresh, my room had black mould in the bathroom, a ceiling extractor...

"Traditional pub building in the middle of a village. The bar was full of local people having a good time but no noise made it through to the bedroom due to very thick walls. Nice room, clean, huge bed plenty of indirect lighting and enough power points. New en suite bathroom. Very friendly but unobtrusive staff. Excellent full English breakfast."

"A lovely thatched roof pub with sitting out area. The lady was so lovely and welcoming we can’t remember her name but she lived right by the pub. The room was lovely, a nice comfortable bed, lovely pillows and lovely and clean. The lady who was cleaning the rooms was on her own that day and we asked if we could check in early the day before. She worked wonders our rooms was spotless. We had a lovely stay with a great breakfast. Will definitely go back. We had three rooms and "

"Lovely well equipped lodge. Beautiful main bedroom view with large window and comfortable bed. Outdoor pool not in use and sauna also out of action. Felt prices for activities were steep especially at least £10 PP so £40 for a family of 4. Indoor pool area didnt match quality of the rest of the resort with dated and run down looking changing rooms. Overall a really pleasant stay during first week of july. Only did 2 mights which was enough. Very quiet. Saw approx 10 families during our stay."

"Room tired, very hot as upstairs. No fan, ironing board or iron. No mini fridge to store cold drinks. Room very small, uneven floor with shower over the bath. Staff were nice and friendly. Bar and restaurant not great. Ran out of glasses, coffee machine was broken. Food ok but not great. items not available at 6pm on a Friday evening. Breakfast items not available."

"I had a really wonderful time staying here. The breakfast was very tasty, the garden was beautiful and I felt really looked after. I would definitely come back again! Only small issue was the parking. Luckily it is not busy so there is parking at the back but I can feel this might come to issue since it's a small car park and you dont want to park on the side of the road but tbh this is very minor and it's a bit nitpicking as I have really enjoyed my stay."

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception. There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there. I cannot...

"Nice pools though much smaller then they look on the site and crowded as it is a health club too - hard to actually swim at all. The rooms were hit with no air con, no fan in the bathroom, and our room was on ground floor near the pool sbc we slept terribly with all the noise of people shd slamming door till late and then early again. The food in the brasserie was good however and staff very friendly."
