"We chose this property after reading lots of highly rated reviews by previous guests and the cottage lived up to the praise. Fantastic location in a quiet village with great views. The cottage was very homely and welcoming with some great attention to detail. The kitchen was well equipped with quality appliances and accessories. We were grateful for the generous welcome pack which came in useful. Highly recommended. "

"The cottage is extremely well kitted out, with a top class tea room and small general store in the village, just 40 metres away. There's no garden but enough room to sit outside at the front and have an evening drink. We didn't try the pub but it's worth looking at the reviews for it 😊 Fantastic walking from the door, and if the weather is good you can even swim in the river across the fields."

"We enjoyed our stay here, the property has everything you need. The views from the sitting room and bedroom are spectacular, the bed was very comfortable.Nice to have smart tv etc. Drying wet clothes and boots was great in the area provided. Overall it felt clean, but the cleaner really does need to look up as there were lots of cobwebs around the ceilings and the light shade on the stairs was thick with dust. The fireplace in the sitting room was a beautiful feature. We stayed in December and...

"What a fantastic place to stay , the cottage was perfect , very comfortable and felt just right .had everything we needed for our stay. Bed comfy and clean loved the way you slept downstairs and the views breathtaking. Lots of information and maps so perfect for us . No garden for four legged friend but walks just outside . We did keep our dog on lead due lambs and nesting birds . Fantastic pub 2 minute walk away . Will be going back without a doubt . Perfect for us ."
