"The staff was friendly and kind. Breakfast went until 10:30 and I appreciated that! There was hair in the shower and bed, cob webs in corners, and the bed was uncomfortable. The sheets and towels were so dingy I wondered if they were clean. At 2:30am I went down to get my pillow out of the car because theirs were flat. The location is what makes this place special. I was thankful to be out of the severe weather for the night but I wouldn’t stay here again."

"They are cute little cottages on Long Lake north of Alpena. Very clean and friendly! Nothing fancy just simple way of life. You can bring your boat and dock it, fish and/or have a bonfire. 🔥"

"This was our second stay and it did not disappoint! The welcome basket was so sweet and she always leaves bowls out for our service dog. The place is clean and welcoming. We didn’t have time to use the hot tub but last time it was great! Deborah responded immediately to messages. I can’t say enough good about or experience. Lake view is wonderful and we walked down to the lake our first night there. Truly a blessing."

"Futon room has been upgraded to a double or queen bed. Only stayed one night but the house seemed well equipped for a longer stay. One bathroom was, near all 3 bedrooms. The other was on the other side of the house, away from the bedrooms, but greatly appreciate having 2 full bathrooms available. Front door lock was a little finicky but worked well once we understood how it worked. All bedrooms had TVs. Large dining table. Comfy living room. Thank you"

"This was a great place if you need lots of room to sleep. As a family of 6 we spend a lot of time out and about on vacations and this place was wonderful to come back to and crash. The kitchen had everything you could need to make meals from a crock pot and air fryer to and ice maker in the freezer. Best VRBO kitchen thoughtfulness I’ve had. The main family area had a nice big sofa sectional that we could all get on for a movie night. Both bathrooms had ample space. While we happened to visit...
