"The White Oak Cottage was everything it looks like and more! Family friendly, located so close to anything you need for the trip, and is so peaceful and pretty at night when it was time to wind down! Also the easiest access to all resort amenities including the pool and tram down to your own private slip on a beautiful new dock! 10/10 would recommend to any friends and family. "

"Warning - THIS IS A BED AND BREAKFAST. Nothing in the description says anything about "sharing" a bathroom, "sharing" the house, multiple families/individuals staying at the same time, etc. ESPECIALLY DURING COVID!!!!! I will not share a bathroom with someone I don't know or even stay in a house with others I do not know. Had I know, we would not have booked the place. "From start to finish this was an excellent stay! The home was clean, roomy, and perfectly situated for our stay. The view from the deck and the sunroom was perfect. I enjoyed the early morning peace sipping my coffee taking in the view of the sun coming up over the hills behind the lake. Everything was just as shown in the listing (or better) and the owner was quick to respond when we had a question. We look forward to our next stay! "

"Husband and I celebrated our 16th anniversary here as a quick getaway. This was absolutely perfect. The separation between the bedroom and main space was amazing. We will definitely be planning another break from the world here. "

The home is well maintained and the owners were easily accessible for answers to questions about the internet and thermostats. Unfortunately, the internet was out during our visit but on the plus, it made our family talk to each other"

"As we turned into the neighborhood, we knew we would enjoy our stay. Every property in the neighborhood was spacious with beautifully manicured lawns. The exterior of this rental was pleasing to the eye. The driveway was down-sloped with plenty of room for our oversized rental suv to pull into. We retrieved the key and opened one of the three garage doors. We were grateful that the suv fit into the bay with plenty of room for the back hatch to fully open and keep us out of the rain. "Everything was great! The house is furnished well with everything you would need in a weekend stay. We had a couple minor issues but Terri was very prompt with getting them taken care of for us. She was very helpful with recommendations of things to do in the area. If I ever find myself in the Lake Cumberland area again, I will book again! "

"Had a great time at the house! We were in town for the Bourbon trail and Keeneland. The house was perfect for our group of 8 and remote enough that we got a great bang for our buck while still being able to get a bus for the bourbon trail. Plenty of room for people to sleep and the game room was really cool. The Captain’s quarters (master bedroom) was amazing! I’d definitely stay again. "
