"The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. But unlike the rest of my family I packed rain boots and didn’t have an issue. The area was serene the hike to the beach definitely a crows mile, we didn’t ever end up...

"Absolutely gorgeous location! Very much off the beaten path. All you could hear is forest sounds and the ocean in the distance. Great getaway if you want to disconnect for a while and get back to nature. Lots of stuff to do. Lots hiking, kayaking, horseback riding. Plenty of places to eat. Definitely will be back, but for longer! Excellent host too! Great communication. Very clean location, well maintained. Can't recommend enough!"

"This cottage is wonderfully located within a 1/2 mile of MacKerricher State Park with free access to beautiful beaches and trails. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and well appointed with everything needed for our 6-day stay with our dog. Master bedroom bed was great, and it was convenient to have 1-1/2 baths. "This property was fully equipped, has beautiful views of the ocean sitting above the road, is two stories ,has a deck on second floor and is walking distance to state beach. While water is reported potable it has a horrible color, which the owner fully disclosed so take you drinking water. "

"Such an amazing stay!! Didn’t matter how cold or foggy it was outside, you can enjoy the beauty right in front of you through all the windows! Nice quiet neighborhood and really close to downtown Fort Bragg! Any small issues that came up were promptly addressed. Communication was excellent. Just sad they are selling the house. In a perfect world, I would have been able to buy it but just very grateful we had the 8 days to enjoy it!!"

"Nice location. Pretty cabin. Quiet and tucked away. Nice yard. Cons were no fire wood provided for the wood stove and limited hot water. Water neither got hot enough or lasted long enough to fill the bathtub (not trying to fill all the way, just enough for a soak). Hot water supply also meant short showers. "
