The property was nice. The heat didnt work in our room and it was a huge rain storm, so it was cold. And the keypad can be a hassle in bad weather. Other than that, nice place!

What a wonderful find. Wished I could have stayed longer. With the wide open Atlantic Ocean right in front of you and the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks, I slept like a baby. Great contact from Cove staff about their self check in process made it super easy, but I as a result, I never actually got to meet anyone. Easy walk down the Main Street with many interesting shops and artist studios. Just a few minutes away from the famous Bearskin Neck. My room was super clean, beautifully decorated with ocean color themes, a super comfy king size bed with more pillows than I knew what to do with, and lots of big windows looking out onto a beautiful meadow park with a small brook rolling through to the sea. I never closed as single drape. A framed print on the wall carried the simple inscription, "Let the sea set you free." I loved this place and would return in a heartbeat, if the occasion presents itself.

This was a beautiful place to stay for a quiet time and watching the ocean.The shared area was nice. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the balcony was shared so you would have seen people going and coming all the time.

I was there off-season, mid-March. The room and property were in excellent condition. The king-size bed was comfortable and the linens were good quality with extra pillows in the closet. The room had an ocean view, and housekeeping was pristine. Not a crumb or anything else where it shouldn't be. TV and WiFi worked well. The only minor gripes was that I had to use a converter in one of the two accessible AC outlets for USB charging, and the sink is tiny, with a place for your bathroom supplies on a nearby table. The restaurant Feather & Wedge was about a 15 minute walk, and the food and service were excellent. Parking in Rockport is free during March, and if you don't like crowds, that is the time to go. Overall, I highly recommend The Cove at Rockport.

This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The rooms are so modern, have the best view, and is well stocked up. I highly recommend!! I can’t say enough good things. Location is amazing and I look forward to coming back!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cove. We were celebrating a friends birthday. Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Dining options were a bit limited due to being off-season. Would highly recommend this property overall.

Location and quality of hotel was very good. Hotel incl rooms were nicely decorated. Be aware that you can hear every word of your next door neighbors which comes along with the style of the hotel. But the downside was that there was no service at all on-site. Self check-in, no room cleaning and minor breakfast options only Fri-Sun. But at least good hot beverages offer and some juices. But we at least appreciated the free parking options.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Our room as well as all common areas were modern and clean. There are comfortable chairs to sit on deck to see and hear the ocean. Room was stocked with everything you need.

This is a lovely place, clean and bright and fresh-looking. Its location is perfect twice over: overlooking the ocean, and a very short walk to Rockport’s Main Street full of charming shops and galleries. Our room was on the top floor, with a great ocean view and private balcony. Just be aware that there’s no elevator, and the second flight of stairs is quite steep. There is a spacious and attractive common area called the Club Room. When we were there, this appeared mostly unused, with just a self-serve coffee counter on offer. As our stay was in October, we’re curious to know if there is more happening on site in high season.

Very quaint! There was for adults and the room was large with 2 king beds, and 2 chairs for seating. Would highly recommend. Staff was professional and very responsive with any questions I had. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Not a human in site Our Beach view was on the third floor no elevator no help we are elderly and struggled with our luggage on these very narrow steep stairs way way overpriced save your money a real rip off I ended up asking a maid to carry my bag down and she accomodated no room cleaning or freshening glad I brouht my own linens and towels.

Sorry for any inconvenience. Unfortunately, Expedia will not allow us to add further details than what is on their website. Also, our listing description did not mention that we have an elevator. We also mention in our description that the room is on a higher floor and there are stairs to climb. We did specifically mention in our messages that we are a self-check-in property and that the room you booked was on the third floor. We hoped that you reached out to us when you received the messages after booking to clarify some details if there was some confusion. Thank you!

Perfect! Amazing staff and location!
The Cove was a perfect weekend stay! The location was amazing, right across the street from the beach. The deck was perfect for relaxing with a drink without getting all sandy on the beach. The staff was excellent! Super friendly, accommodating and helpful! I would definitely stay here again!

Nice, clean hotel with beautiful rooms. Business model is slightly different with no front desk and rooms having key pads with codes. Everything is fine via text message and self service. Parking is across the small beautiful park, 2 lots closer to downtown Rockport. We stayed in the Millbrook B condo, which was large and lovely. It has sleeping for 4, 1.5 baths and outdoor seating for 5. It overlooks the beautiful Millbrook Park.

1st floor rooms abut a deck that is open to the public during the day. Pics are a bit deceiving. It can get loud in those rooms during the day time. Room 2 has a very squeaky storm door. Room was beautiful though.

I was very disappointed to find out that my room did not have a bathroom. I had to go across the hallway, very annoying for what you pay for this room. The headline for this room says “standard room, 1 queen bed, ocean view”. Where it should absolutely say detached bathroom in that header. Very deceiving in my opinion. For what you pay for this room you’re not gonna go searching through fine print to know if the room has a bathroom! Something else to note is that there are no people working on the property that I ever saw. Everything is done through text, which is fine for an Airbnb, but not something I like in a hotel, personally. There also are no keys. You have to use your palm of your hand and then codes which usually takes a few times to work, so just be aware. In fact, in order to use the separated bathroom in the middle of the night you gotta make sure you remember that code to get into the bathroom and A different code to get back into your room. when you’re half asleep that’s not the easiest thing to do. On the positive side, the location is great. You’re across the street from the beach and walking distance into the town. There is a nice club room, but every time I went into it nobody was using it, so it was very quiet, because again, no staff. If you book this property, just make sure you read the fine print or call and ask to find out if your room has a detached bathroom if that’s something that you prefer.

We hope you had reached out to us via call/email about the room so we can check other options for you.We only have one room that has a detached bathroom out of 13 rooms we offer. Unfortunately, we can't add the word "detached bathroom" in the title name in the Expedia system which is why we added that information to the email we sent you upon reservation. It's also in the listing description that our property has a self-check-in process and an access code will be provided since we don't have a front desk.We are sorry again that we did not meet your expectations. We will work hard to make sure we provide our guests with only the best service.

Perfection!
We loved our townhouse! Perfect set-up for my adult family with doors on either side of the kitchen to close off the noise from those who wanted to sleep in. Super comfortable beds, close to the beach and a short walk into the village. We will definitely be back!

Right on the ocean! Beautiful deck that over looks the ocean, great for sunrise viewing. Went during the spring (off season) so great value for the price. The room we stayed in was very standard, had what we needed, with again an amazing view. Would stay again!

Great view of Front beach! Clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed (tho could have used some ice.) Felt odd to have no staff on site, but staff was readily available if we called or emailed. Very happy we chose to stay at The Cove.
