"The room (and really the property itself) is very old and not maintained. There were roaches and other insects in my room. The air conditioner is a window mounted type unit and it was full of tar and brown goop. Mold in the bathrooms and dust everywhere. This was a very terrible experience. The one positive is the front desk person was quick to refund my money although he had to be located as there was no one there for quite a long time. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else."

"I travel with my little dog so it's very convenient and centrally located in Sycamore. I stay here quite often."

"Listen, this is no five star hotel but it serves a purpose. It’s like staying at your grandma‘s house. It’s older they have some regulars. It’s going into a little construction right now but once you’re in your room, it’s quiet if you leave the windows closed TV leaves a little to be desired satellite and it goes out and there’s not anything premium so upgrading to letting people use our own Netflix would be awesome but we won’t stop coming here. We love the Jacuzzi room. We love that some rooms...

"My room was clean and a sm"

"It was quaint. It was set a few minutes from the lake which was happy about. Bcuz then it’s quiet when it’s night. They had plenty of room for walking in the room. I liked that the heater was easy to work. The coffee in the room was not a kuirig though."
