"The house is a little rustic, but everything was clean/in good working order and it has plenty of space. It is only 18 minutes from great off-roading at SMORR and there was plenty of space for parking. There are a handful of gas stations and good restaurants just a few minutes away, but the house itself is a little out of the way so it is nice place to relax. I enjoyed the front porch with a view of the valley across the way."

"I took my son up for the youth turkey weekend. I chose Mike's cabin due to its proximity to the public hunting land. The cabin is fully furnished and has some very comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay. P.S. My 10-year-old harvested his first turkey on our trip."

"I stayed here for a few days for a private retreat. It was quiet, tranquil and just what I needed. The cabin has everything you need. Anne is a great host. Very welcoming and attentive to anything you might need but respectful of your privacy. The property is wonderful and I loved the trails on-site are excellent. Perfect for a short excursion. "

"We loved our stay. This house and the owner Linda made us feel right at home. The house had everything that we needed and was so comfortable. Linda was fantastic to work with and made the whole stay smooth. We hope to stay again next time we are in Ava."

"If you are looking for a quiet in nature stay this is an awesome place. Very unique house with comfortable accommodation, we would stay again. "

"Guest was very kind and the cabin was super cute and clean. The property was very private and was great to wake up and have coffee on the porch in the morning. Overall, great place to stay!"

"This is a great place to relax and enjoy life.Secluded, and quiet, except for the sounds of nature.The house is very roomy, great kitchen, and a great place to relax in the living room. We had 3 couples there, and everyone was very happy with the place.Although I am not a fisherman, there seemed like a lot of fish being caught out of the river.We floated the river, and used Sunburst Ranch Outfitter for the float, very nice people, and they also took very good care of our group."

"The house, owner and area is awesome. You are about a half mile from Dawt Mill Resort, which has a public access to the river. Relaxing week for sure."

"Cute little cabin, sleeps 6. Quiet, in the woods just outside Ava city. Kitchen is just a dorm fridge, microwave, coffeemaker. We brought our own tabletop grill and cookstove. Fun property with room for kids to play, playground, picnic tables, firepit to roast marshmallow."

"This was so far our best little get away! The location is beautiful with great neighbors (Rex and Timalee the owners)! They were so respectful and very friendly making sure we didnt need anything. The loft was beautifully designed and decorated. Plenty of space yet not to big. We will definitely be back. Thanks again, it was a joy yo talk with you both!"
