"The room was a reasonable size but not big. However the facilties were excellent. There was a smeg fridge and kettle. The walk in shower was excellent. Easy to get the right temperature and pressure. The whole bathroom suite looked like it was relatively new. No mold no water damage anywhere even the grouting was clean. "Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. "

"Excelent hotel, the only problem is that is far from metro (30 min walk), but you can get a bus (2,5 pounds for a 5 minutes ride) that leaves you very near."

Only negative. No air conditioning, but we asked for a fan and we were given a large fan on a stand, which was sufficient.
