"We had a great time staying at this little cabin. It was very nice for our short anniversary trip. We arrived on a Monday evening and had a very easy time getting in. When you get there the first thing you notice is that this cabin is really, really in the woods. It was so nice and that was what I was looking for when I booked. "We had a fabulous time here! This was a great location. Not only was it close to historic sites, downtown Harper’s Ferry, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the river (as did our dog!). While this is a back unit to the host's home, they were were hospitable, friendly, made an effort to give us privacy and allowed us full use of all the amenities. We were concerned about privacy, but had no issues and would absolutely recommend this place. It was also a great neighborhood for our dog to walk/run...

"We had a great stay at the Rusty Rose! It was decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. We especially loved walking across the street in the morning for coffee and donuts at the little bakery in town. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed in the cabin for our son's wedding weekend. Loved the coziness and feel of the cabin...only wish we had more time to relax and enjoy it. We'd love to return and do just that! "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our July 4th weekend stay at the 1840 log cabin in Frederick. The home is a completely renovated and modernized log cabin that was very comfortable to stay in and located in a great location. The home is a short 10-12 minute walk downtown, but in a quiet area that is more relaxed with ample parking, etc... Communication with the host was easy and he was very responsive.
