"We vacationed to St. Louis and wanted to stay outside of the city so we could enjoy our down time in nature. This place is an older home tucked away on the edge of a state park. It was a 30 minute drive from everything we wanted to do (from downtown St. Louis activities, to Eureka, to Meramec River adventures) which was perfect! Because it is an older home, expect creaky stairs and smaller spaces. All the furniture was SO COMFORTABLE! The beds, sofa, and chairs were perfect for relaxing. ...

"Nice house, well maintained and decorated. Kitchen stocked, house clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay, everyone had their own space even our dog! Restaurants and coffee shops are a short walking distance. We enjoyed walking our dog by the river every morning. Our host was very responsive. We loved it and will definitely try to stay here again if we were to visit this area anytime."
