Large attractive gardens, nice touches like the extra padded seats for our outside seats and fresh fruit from the farm at breakfast. "Truly amazing! Beautiful room, views and pool area. The food in the restaurant was splendid. The only thing that was a bit strange was that breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before, and coffee/tea was not included. And they have no lunch. I guess my feedback is that they should have more food options available. Another note to future visitors - the mountain road up to the hotel was a bit difficult if you have a smaller car. But other than that it was perfect."

"I’m really happy to have stayed here. The hotel is situated in the prettiest street in town, by many of it’s best eats. The receptionist, Shamiso, made me feel very welcome the entire stay and provided plenty of ideas for hiking, wine tasting or just enjoying the town. Everything was clean and neat, the breakfast varied, delicious, homemade and plentiful. The bartender, Devonne, was delightful and attentive and even surprised me with an impressive live performance on acoustic gitar, good vocals...

"Stayed for one night with my boyfriend as a stopover between Sutherland and Cape Town, and honestly wish we’d booked two. Despite booking very last minute, Evelyn made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived with a glass of champagne. The property is beautifully curated; every piece of furniture and decor feels intentional, giving the whole place a boutique, high-end atmosphere.
