The people of Roatan were so customer service focused but NOT the Blue Roatan. We booked an oceanview room for 19 days and due to renovations, the hotel changed us to a jungle condo up the hill but we would get a "private pool"(until a few days later when someone else moved in as well). WE MADE A BIG MISTAKE. LEARN FROM US AND NEVER BOOK ANYWHERE FOR ANY MORE THAN A WEEK. This place is very remote so unless you've got tons of money to spend eating at a the other few hotels on the beach don't come here!!. Expedia told us, hold your booking if your not happy when you get to the property call us...we've got a case number started. We trusted them both!! Day 1 we contacted Expedia about our dissatisfaction as well as the Hotel. My stayed 4 nights but had to fly home as my partner was sick. We didn't get cleaning or clean towels till day 3. We lost over $2,000 because the Blue Roatan refused to refund even a portion of our money. And Expedia took no ownership for telling us they had our back months before our arrival. A very unfortunate ending
