"The room was dirty, I booked through Expedia and got a call the day before and was told I had to pay right then or the room would be given away. It smelled, the towels were dirty and it just was all around not comfortable. I usually give the benefit but I honestly wont stay here again. We stayed two years ago and it was decent, not sure what happened."

"The so called continental breakfast was lacking. It consisted of bananas, waffles, yogurt, and coffee and cereal. That is the worst continental breakfast I’ve ever experienced. The staff was unfriendly didn’t even acknowledge you when you walked into the lobby. The room was not clean daily. They only replaced our towels. They didn’t make the beds and didn’t vacuum."

"Great, pretty new place between Elkin and Sparta. About 10 minutes from Stone Mountain State Park. Quiet little road. Is on property with two permanent residences that are fairly close. So, it's fairly private but not secluded. Great for one or two, but not three people or a family unless it's a baby. Central AC and ceiling fans were great for an unusually hot weekend. Definitely recommend this place. Bring coffee filters (bucket type, not cone) and condiments. There are grocery stores in...

"We had a great stay! I cannot stress enough how close and convenient this location is to the Grassy Gap parking area for hiking Doughton Park. That’s what drew me in to book this stay. We didn’t spend much time on premises, so we didn’t utilize the many amenities…hot tub, fire pits, picnic pavilion, etc…but the stay was comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and communication was great."

"A total 10 out of 10 for me! Beautiful and clean cabin and property with a great night's sleep! I was only here for a quick layover, thus unable to explore a bit and enjoy things like the fire pit or just relaxing outside. If ever I'm back this way I would totally book here again if available. Thank you!"
